This consists of two small parking areas close to Sint-Niklaas city centre, beside a railway line where trains pass approximately every 3 minutes, day and night. The location is convenient for sightseeing and walking, but train noise is significant and there are no bins. The original information states that campervans are free and cars cost €2, while recent reports mention parking penalties and a police prohibition sticker. Parking rules therefore appear unreliable.

Although I paid the parking fee, the police stuck a sticker on my door saying that I was not allowed to park.
Good for one night or as a good car park (€2), about 15 minutes' walk from the centre. I spent two nights here; sometimes there is some trouble from the trains.
A train passes approximately every three minutes, day and night. We regularly park here only during the day because of the noise from the trains at night as well. No rubbish bins. I have never received a fine. If you do get one, contact them and you do not have to pay. If you stay more than 48 hours, buy a €2 day ticket.
NOT free. €28 FINE FOR PARKING. THIS IS NOT MENTIONED ANYWHERE. BELGIUM IS A TERRIBLE COUNTRY WHEN IT COMES TO CAMPING.
You think you can park here for free to sleep for a few hours. NOT SO! Three weeks later, a €28 parking fine arrives in the mail because parking here is supposedly paid.
Great place, very well maintained, but a rubbish bin should be installed to prevent littering. The motorhome site is also free, despite them charging a €28 fine. Report it through Parkeerwinkel Sint-Niklaas.
Awful. The parking area has been refurbished and is lovely. Don’t follow google; there’s a new entrance. The two motorhome spots are immediately adjacent to the train line which runs ALL NIGHT. Only the bike path separates you from the trains. Noisy as hell. Cars come and go all night too. And the station is next to a factory that also works all night. I’m here on a Thursday and am a sound sleeper but was woken up 6 times by trains.
