Friendly country pub stop, vegan menu

Large carpark excellent for larger vehicles- sadly we missed the food having arrived after 8pm. Fair bit of road noise & we timed it perfectly for the circus (just our poor luck)

Excellent, super friendly, with a large field behind the grounds for the dog.

Unfortunately only five stars; I would gladly give more for the friendliness. The food is highly recommended, and we will happily return.

Excellent stop over, great food at a fair price and lovely cosy atmosphere. Not far from the airport or supermarket. Highly recommend

Very quiet tonight. The pub staff are very pleasant, the service is excellent and the food is good. I recommend it.

A fantastic motorhome site. We arrived late in the evening and had unfortunately already eaten. Otherwise, we would have tried the food. We left early the next day, so once again, a heartfelt thank-you for the free parking.

We emailed the pub to ask whether we could stay in their car park and how much it would cost. They said there was no charge because they provided no services. Very friendly. We obviously used the pub for a few drinks. They serve food, but unfortunately we had already eaten; it was a very nice place.

Fantastic spot, stayed two nights. Lovely pub; there is no obligation to buy anything, but we did, and we had a fantastic meal.

Excellent stop over on our way up north,large free car park, and no obligation to use the pub ( although we did out of courtesy and the food is amazing). Also the pub is dog friendly (a bonus for us) with free treats and water available.Will definitely return and highly recommend

Large unrestricted parking area. Excellent food and attentive service.

We stayed here on both the outward and return legs of our Scotland tour. Large car park. We chose our pitch freely. Very friendly welcome and very good food in the beautiful restaurant or on the terrace. Excellent bar/lounge area. We would gladly return.

We stayed here on October 28, 2023. When we asked at the restaurant, it was no problem at all. Very friendly staff and absolutely delicious food. The railway museum is closed until spring 2024. It is being renovated for £35 million.

Good place despite being a car park. A nice woman said we could park even though we could no longer eat there. It was appreciated—thank you.
