576 Chemin de Halage, 24510, Trémolat
Been here?
A quiet riverside wild spot beside the Dordogne and beneath a railway bridge, with several spaces on one side and one on the other. Access is easy by van, with a dirt road over 1 km, and the water can be reached for paddleboarding or swimming. The ground is uneven, and occasional trains pass, though recent reports describe very little disturbance. There are no bins, so take all waste away.

Great quiet spot by the water, perfect. We slept one night and it was perfect.Translating
Superb spot and viewpoint! By the Dordogne and at the foot of the bridge. Easy access by van. We were alone at the spot. Another van arrived late in the evening. A few hikers. Very little train traffic; we heard the first one at 6:40 a.m., but it was not bothersome.Translating
Very beautiful place on the banks of the Dordogne. Little traffic on the towpath, a few trains. Quite clean, with shaded areas. There are several spots on one side of the bridge and one on the other side. Access to the water is possible for paddleboarding or swimming.Translating
Magnificent place. The stone bridge changes color with the light throughout the day, and there are a few hikers. The ground is not very flat because the riverbank was recently rebuilt to clear the view, and there is quite a lot of hard-packed dirt. Highly recommended. On this date, we were alone at the spot. Easier access is via Trémolat SNCF station.Translating
I confirm: a very quiet spot. There is a 1-kilometer dirt road, but it is easily passable.Translating
Good spot, peaceful and right by the water. A few workers pass through without asking anything to reach a small station 200 meters from the spot. Trains are rare, and there have been none since 8 p.m. Ideal for one night.Translating
The train passes over the bridge, but we did not hear it at night. Very pleasant place in nature. A fisherman was a little farther away, but it was very quiet, nothing to report. We recommend it!Translating
Very nice place near the river. The site is not very large but more than adequate for one night. The view of the bridge is beautiful, although trains do pass from time to time and can be quite noisy.Translating
Perfect. By the water, beautiful view and peace and quiet. What more could you ask for? A train only passes in the late morning.Translating
Great spot for the view. No bins, so please take your rubbish with you to leave the place clean. Railway bridge noise is very bearable.Translating
Quiet place; tip: just 4 km away in the village, you can get water and empty your cassette.Translating
Great, quiet spot beside the Dordogne. Just one fisherman. We settled next to the bridge on the right-hand side. Pure happiness. Please preserve it.Translating
Great, calm and peaceful place!!Translating
Very quiet, very clean. Easy access for a van. For anyone hesitant to go all the way to the end of the road, it is possible to park along the edge of a walnut field beside the road. Thanks to those who listed it.Translating
