This large free parking area lies between the university and hospital, with space for vans and large motorhomes. It is busy during the day but surprisingly quiet at night, especially after about 9:00 p.m. The surface is not especially flat, although some flat areas are available toward the north. Recycling bins are across the road at the sports center. Avoid narrow Google-directed streets and approach from the north via Macchia Romana.

to find parking here you have to come either after 5pm or before 10am. otherwise, it gets pretty full during the day. also, to get here google may give you directions which will take you to very narrow streets. to avoid that, you have to go all the way around Macchia Romana and arrive from the north part of town. other than that, very quiet night. historic district 1.5km away
Big parking lot with enough space for vans or motorhomes, but not completely flat. Surprisingly quiet at night, no disturbances, felt safe. Recycling bins are available across the road next to the sports centre. Probably the only suitable parking for bigger MHs in the town. But the drive into the parking lot through the town wasn't fun.
Large free parking lot for the university - no prohibition signs. not especially flat but there are some flat areas toward the north end. Trash and recycling at the sports center. Busy during the day but surprisingly quiet at night during the week. Space for large vehicles.
