Been here?
This is a quiet mountain parking area and hiking starting point beside a restaurant, reached by a long, winding road. Recent reports describe the access as suitable for campervans but demanding, with no mobile reception at the top. Water and large rubbish bins are available, and a refuge serving drinks is a 5 minute walk away.

We drove up the very narrow, damaged roads in the dark. It was very frightening and questionable. There was a light on in the restaurant, but not a soul was around, and there is no signal up there either. We decided to drive back down the mountain and slept in a small village. It may be beautiful during the day, but at night it is very, very creepy!Translating
Perfect spot. A few other campers were there. Restaurant were kind enough to get us a couple beers before closing up, but you can also get a drink at the refuge which is a five minute walk up a path. Big rubbish bins and water too!
Super beautiful, peaceful spot with a great view and sunset. Water source available. Nothing going on at the end of April. The road is in very good condition.Translating
Hiking parking area with a private section for the restaurant. The place is a dead end at the end of a long, winding 15-km road (accessible by motorhome, but you should be comfortable driving your vehicle). It is therefore very quiet, and there is still some 4G. I did not visit the restaurant; it seems to close at 7:30 p.m. Nice hike with a beautiful view of the marble quarry.Translating
Excellent parking area, with plenty of spaces and a beautiful view. Great for various walks and hikes to the Campocecina meadows.Translating
Simple parking area for hiking or the restaurant. There is also a spring right next to it. We had a beer at the refuge and asked whether we could stay here, and it was no problem at all. The sunset view from the refuge, a five-minute walk away, is amazing!Translating
Unfortunately cloudy today, so we drove on. In itself, though, it is a dream... From Carrara, by the way, there is a wide, flat road, partly newly paved.Translating
Super beautiful spot. The view is a dream. However, getting here took twice as long as the navigation said, and you end up at an altitude of 1,300 metres. Personally, I found it really tiring and oppressive.Translating
Spectacular place! The little restaurant is also well worth visiting: simple but authentic cuisine, incredibly delicious! There are two possible parking spots: in the parking lot and at the roundabout. I preferred the latter because of the magnificent view.Translating
Quiet place, with views of the city and the sea. A stone's throw from a restaurant and a refuge. Starting point for several walks.Translating
