10 Via Brione, 38066, Riva del Garda
Been here?
Riva del Garda camper aire behind the police station, close to the lake. Pay by the hour at an automatic barrier/machine (1 EUR/hour, first hour often free), max stay 48 hours, then a re-entry ban for 48 hours or a steep hourly rate applies. Fresh water and grey/black water dump are free; toilets and showers cost 1 EUR extra, accessed via a key from the adjacent bar, and were repeatedly closed in winter (roughly Dec–Feb) though reopening by March. No electricity or shade. Level, spacious pitches; some flood in heavy rain. Generally quiet at night, though weekend bar noise or nearby roadworks can disrupt sleep. Town centre is about 15-20 minutes on foot.

You may stay on the site for 48 consecutive hours at €1 per hour. Each additional hour costs €5. The spaces are relatively close together, but for the price it is definitely a good emergency solution. Toilets cost €1 per use; you have to ask for a key at the adjacent bar. Showers cost €1 for 2 minutes 30 seconds and are unfortunately very run-down, with mouldy shower walls.
It is now a mandatory stop on our trips, five minutes from the lake and 20 minutes from the centre via a very pleasant walk. The area has grey- and black-water disposal, fresh-water filling, electricity, toilets and showers for an additional fee, and spacious pitches. €1 per hour, maximum 48 hours.
Great site. We slept very peacefully here, and the lake is not far away. We would happily return.
Everything you need apart from electricity, an easy walk into town, and quiet in the evening.
Great site for a stopover or overnight stay. €1 per hour, with the first hour free. Maximum stay 48 hours, after which it costs €5 per hour. Fresh water and disposal facilities available. Showers and toilets available for an extra charge, not tested. Restaurants and walking routes are within walking distance. The only disadvantage is that there is no shade.
A very peaceful place, with fun activities for children this summer. You sleep well.
A nice parking area with an adjoining bar, facilities and a children's playground. The owner is very friendly and pleasant. He let me charge my EcoFlow using the bar's electricity. I will definitely return! Well done!
The area is very well located. The first hour is free, then it costs €1 per hour. As it was July and the bar was open longer, the toilets and showers had extended opening hours. Since it was a Saturday in July, there was a kind of party at the bar until 11 p.m., making it difficult to rest. From 1 to 5 a.m. it was very quiet. The rest of the time was difficult because of the road, basketball court, bar and so on.
Very good and cheap place. €1 is cheap, as all nearby parking areas cost €2.25 and you cannot stay there overnight. There is free water, grey-water disposal and black-water toilet disposal. Showers and toilets are available from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. when the bar is open. You can stay for a maximum of 48 hours, then you must leave for the next 48 hours.
It would have received five stars otherwise, but the showers are open only during the restaurant's opening hours. A convenient place for exploring Riva del Garda, with a beach nearby. The site is just a parking area, but it suited us well, and costs only €1 per hour. We have stayed here before and will come again.
We spent one night here. It was clean, the sanitary facilities worked, and it is close to town.
Shower works now with 1€/2,5min. Note: when you insert a coin and select a shower number, the water and time start to run immediately. And the water cannot be adjusted any hotter, the water is quite cold at the beginning. Otherwise the place is as described and there is no noise from the road.
Close to town, but facilities were missing. The toilet that could be paid for was not open while we were there.
We stopped here for a few hours to visit the town. Convenient parking about 15 minutes from the centre. Not recommended in rainy weather because the pitches flood despite having soil and grass. I give it two stars because, since it was flooded, we decided to leave.
Good location, drinking water and waste disposal. Automated barriers read number plates on entry and pay at the machine by the bar (takes card) before leaving. The toilets and showers can only be accessed 8am-8pm by asking at the bar for the key (1 euro). At 1 euro an hour it's a reasonably priced option for a night or two.
Excellent. €1 per hour, €1 for a shower and €1 for the toilet. Maximum stay 48 hours.
Good place to spend the night: large pitches, a quiet area and relatively close to the village. Free grey- and black-water disposal and fresh-water filling. Showers, toilets and washing machines are paid. We found the price of €1 per hour very reasonable.
A very nice and safe place for campers next to the police station. Parking is charged by the hour, so you do not have to adjust to check-in and check-out times. We arrived, parked safely, visited the town, cycled to Limone and Malcesine, and continued the next day. There are even a few shaded spaces. Excellent for me.
Simple and tidy parking area. Quiet and conveniently located near the lakeside promenade, just a short distance from the centre.
Thanks for the good site. €1 per hour. Toilets, shower and washing machine. What more could you want? Anyone who is always complaining about sites should stay at home; we were very satisfied.
Perfect to spend the night! Very close to the city centre.
We were there on May 16 and 17. Great place for exploring Riva del Garda. The showers are showing their age but were clean. Perfectly fine for €24.
We arrived in the morning for the day and there was space. Very convenient for enjoying the town and its activities. At €1 per hour, it is unbeatable. We left in the evening to sleep away from the town in a small village.
Everything is available except electricity. Ideal location for travelling through or exploring Riva. Quiet at night, with the police station right next door. Pay €1 per hour at the parking meter; it cannot get cheaper. We would happily return!
Good place to spend the night and see the town. A little noisy and showing its age, but okay.
There are plenty of pitches. The sanitary facilities are a little dated but serve their purpose. Lake Garda is about a five-minute walk away. It costs €1 per hour. Three minutes in the shower also costs €1. Unfortunately, it is not entirely peaceful. Italians apparently like disposing of their empty bottles in the evening. :D
We arrived at 6pm there were only a few places left. it was really ok. we walked 10-15 min to downtown l. There is water, sewage. Bathroom and showers you have to ask the key at the bar next to the parking lot and they close early.
The site is between a road and an active construction site, with excavators working, and overall looks somewhat neglected. The toilets and showers were closed; apparently a key should be available at the kiosk, which was also closed. The site therefore did not feel inviting to us, so we drove on.
Ten stars. We were only there briefly, but the price, location and facilities are simply fantastic. Thank you to the operators—this is how camping becomes fun again.
Beautiful, quiet site. There was a wonderful bird concert in the morning, and water and disposal facilities are available. We did not use the shower or toilets. Restaurants nearby are easily reachable on foot. Riva is a 30-minute walk away. Parking costs €1 per hour, maximum 48 hours.
Very close to the centre, about a 15-minute walk. Restaurants and shops are nearby. The shower costs €1 for 2.5 minutes, but the water is not very hot. The system is also poor: when you insert the coin, it starts while you are still away from the shower, so you lose at least 20 seconds. It is also not possible to insert €2 at once for five minutes of showering, for example. The toilet costs €1 to use.
We stayed here last year and everything was fine, this year Garda struggles with overturism- we waited 2 hours to get in this stellplatz. Toiletes were closed at night :( we are sleeping in a small car and due to overturism people were arguing that we are not a van a we cant stay here anymore :(
Very well maintained and quiet, even though it was full. We had a great pitch with our dog for one night, it was also very inexpensive, and we were able to enjoy Riva on foot and at our leisure.
Parking area in an excellent location, 20 minutes on foot from both Riva centre and Torbole. There are water and disposal facilities, although unfortunately the same tap is used both to rinse the black-water cassette and to fill drinking water. The first hour is free, then it costs €1 per hour, payable at the automatic machine, including by card. There is a bar and playground next door. Recommended!
A great place for an overnight stay and exploring the area. A 7.45-metre camper fits without any problem.
Nice parking area, close to the police station.
Toilets closed, showers closed. Fine for an overnight stay; the site is very quiet and clean.
Quiet place, next to the Carabinieri station and very close to the lake. Peaceful, with convenient pitches. The only drawback is that there is no tap dedicated to washing the toilet cassette. You have to use the drinking-water tap, which is not very hygienic.
Convenient area for reaching both Riva del Garda centre, 20 minutes on foot, and Torbole via the cycle path along the lake. Showers and toilets will be operational from March; currently they are closed. Water filling and disposal are working. It is behind the police station and quiet at night. Access is 24/7 through a barrier, with payment at the automatic machine.
Ideal for Lake Garda. I left after 20 hours, but returned an hour later because I could not find another parking space and was able to get back in. Toilets out of service until March, but the location outweighs everything else.
