Been here?
This is a free, shaded motorhome area near Costigliole d’Asti, with the village center and castle reachable on foot in about 5 minutes. Water filling, gray- and black-water emptying and waste containers are available, but there is no electricity. The ground is not fully level, so wedges may be needed, and traffic can be heard from early morning, especially agricultural vehicles. The surrounding streets lead uphill toward the village.

The place is well located, with a pretty little town reachable on foot in under 5 minutes. Bring mosquito spray, and expect frequent traffic morning and evening. Bins, dumping point, and water filling available on site. We stayed one night.
Nice shaded motorhome stop. A 5-minute walk to a beautiful old village with restaurants and a small grocery store. We stayed there for 2 nights. Quiet and peaceful at night. Water for refilling and grey-water disposal available. Recycling facilities available. Thank you to the municipality for arranging this.
Green motorhome area without electricity, with dumpsters, unfortunately near a road and construction site. The village can be reached via an uphill road or staircase. Levelling wedges are necessary. Water filling and dumping are beside an internal road; note that grey and black water are separate, with black water discharged into the red post. I recommend bringing a bottle to rinse the toilet cassette so as not to contaminate the water.
Shaded. Full-service site. Easy walk into town for nice restaurants. Ground not levelled. Thanks to the nearby village for this great place.
What a great place! And best of all, during the hot period at the end of June ’26, we discovered that there is a fantastic swimming pool, Oasi Blu, at most a 15-minute walk away.
Reasonably level. Plenty of shade. Black and grey water discharge and drinking water refill all working. Main downside is the road noise from early in the morning, especially agricultural traffic in June. The bells don't ring overnight.
Congratulations to the municipality for creating this free area!! The village, and especially the castle, are absolutely worth a visit. Just a few steps from the motorhome area.
Motorhome area two steps from the center, water available, waste bins, and water disposal, which I believe is working.
Excellent motorhome pitch, reasonably level, no levelling wedges needed, short walk to the village. We were alone on Friday.
Free motorhome area, many thanks to the municipality. Space for about 10 small motorhomes, no longer than 6–6.5 m. Right beside the road, not very busy, quiet at night. The center is reachable on foot in 5 minutes. Wine bar with delicious food, café, bakery—everything is there.
Beautiful shady place just steps from the pleasant town center, where we fully enjoyed the good weather. There was a little traffic and the church bell, but neither bothered us at all. We enjoyed a glass of Asti at Caffe de la Roma, whose owner was very kind.
Motorhome area with water disposal and waste bins. Shaded, grassy location. Some spots are slightly sloping. The town center is reachable on foot via an uphill road directly ahead. There is also a public weighbridge that tells you how much your vehicle weighs for a coin. Arrive early on Saturdays, as it fills up easily!
Perfect for a 24-hour stop, grassy and well-maintained grounds. The town is well worth a visit. Thanks to the municipalities that allow us to enjoy their local treasures.
Very quiet, green pitch near this lovely little town, with free water and dumping services. Good for motorhomes up to 6 meters.
Quite uneven ground, and muddy when it rains. The grey-water drain is blocked and the water drains very slowly.
Calm and safe place. We had a good night's sleep. Some noise because it is near the main road, but nothing significant. Water services were working, and we were able to use the e-bike station to charge our power station for free. Large garden, ideal for people with pets.
Absolutely excellent, a few minutes' walk from the town. Great view of the old town. Thank you for this free motorhome area. We would gladly return.
Fantastic place, thanks to the town hall for providing it. Everything worked properly and the site was very level. Perhaps a little noisy because of the nearby road, but we were very comfortable.
Fine for parking briefly to visit the town, but the grey-water point was blocked and the ground was muddy, so we did not stay overnight.
On grass, very muddy, recycling bins, free, picnic area, and an automatic public weighbridge.
Grassy area with a fence; the dumping area was somewhat covered by leaves. Water turned off... Quiet and close to the center. The castle is open only during events.
Free grassy area, not very level, near the center. Convenient dumping point, with water available even in winter. Good phone coverage, public weighbridge nearby.
Convenient, on grass, 5 minutes from the village and castle.
Free motorhome area 5 minutes from the village. The craft markets inside the castle are lovely. Quite quiet at night. Thanks to the municipality for providing such a place.
Excellent area, level grass, free, with water filling/dumping and waste collection. Although near a road, we had a peaceful night. The nearby village is just a short walk away.
Safe, free motorhome pitch. Quiet at night, with disposal facilities.
Very nice area with grass, water, and very quiet. The garbage truck comes at seven in the morning and makes a lot of noise. The village has a huge castle that we couldn't visit. Thanks to the village for this place.
Very good. Very quiet night. Free. Thanks to the municipality.
