Used during the day, £3.50 flat rate. Present the second printed ticket to the bus driver to get the journey free; it takes 13–15 minutes to the city center. The first pitches on the right in the area reserved for motorhomes are spacious but slightly sloped. For the night, other spaces will probably be more level, otherwise use leveling blocks. Clean public toilets available.
If you come with large motorhomes, it is better to use the back section on the left as you enter, where the buses turn around. If you go all the way to the back, the pitches are more level and you can let the rear overhang of the motorhome extend out. You can walk into the city without taking the bus: 20 minutes to the center, the same as by bus.
Excellent park and ride with a bus to the center. Daytime only. Four motorhome spaces.
£3.50, with card payment possible, until 11:59 p.m.; bus free for five people. About four motorhome spaces at the entrance. Otherwise only car parking. According to the bus driver, overnight stays are not permitted! We had no problems, though, and paid again in the morning. Relatively quiet at night, although the motorway can be heard.
Very good parking for taking the bus to Winchester. I recommend avoiding the motorhome spaces at the entrance to the parking lot, as there is a lot of noise from the buses and cars coming and going. We left.
Park and ride without services. £3.50 for 24 hours, including a return bus to the city. Payment by app or coins; in the future, cards will be accepted at the machines. Toilets available, although I think they close at night. There is a designated motorhome area, but it is not level. We parked at the back of the lot without problems, with the overhang extending over the grass. Very quiet night with three other campers.
Arrived 3:30pm and left the next day at 3:30pm as there is a 24 hour max. parking rule. It was quiet although there are coaches arriving every few hours at night. Traffic noise is low. The toilet is OK but the shutters came down around 10pm and opened about 7pm. No water taps for filling. There is a lane for around four longer MH's. 20 mins. walk into Winchester or £3 on the bus after 10:30am.
Perfect for visiting the city. For £3.50, or £3 after 10:30 a.m., including a regular bus transfer into the city.
Nice quiet place. We paid £3 for a whole day and it’s free at night. There is no sign that you can’t park overnight so we stayed 2 nights without a problem. Would surly recommend ! And only a 15min walk from the city centre.
