A quiet picnic area beside a stream, with shaded tables and a magnificent washhouse. Parking is small, with space for 1 or 2 vans near the château and washhouse, and the nearby lake offers walks but has height-limited access. Public toilets are available but poorly maintained, and rubbish bins have recently been unemptied. The village is pleasant and suited to a picnic or short stop.

Nice place for a picnic stop. Pretty village.
Small characterful village in a quiet setting. Possibility of parking one or two vans at the foot of the castle, next to the washhouse along the river. The toilets are still not great and the bins have not been emptied—don’t come for that...
Ideal place for a stop, for a picnic or even overnight... Nice walk to enjoy. Nearby lake, but access is height-restricted. Shaded tables. Toilets, but not maintained... You have been warned! :)
Really nice for a short picnic and walk. Small car park.
