Magnificent place; Fred is really great, as are his sandwiches. Perfect starting point for a hike. However, there were an enormous number of mosquitoes when I visited, and I was afraid to venture outside the camper. Apparently this was due to unusual weather conditions.

Quiet night and waking up to a magnificent view. Hiking starts here; hikers arrive around 7–8 a.m. Snack bar Le Petit Alpin is very convenient and the owner is very friendly.

It’s a great spot for spending the night! We stopped here in October and it was quiet—three vans and one bivouac. The hikers only arrived early in the morning. The view is magnificent at both sunrise and sunset. It’s level and clean; I highly recommend it.
Large car park with a superb view and a kiosk run by Fred, “Le Petit Alpin,” who is very friendly. Cold and hot drinks, sandwiches and lots of regional products—we loved it. Open until the end of September.
Fantastic spot! To get there you have to take a fairly narrow road; I had a 6 m camper and had no problems. There are places to pull over and let cars pass. The parking area is fairly level. There is also a little kiosk providing Wi-Fi.
