The access includes a 15 min gravel road to the Northern Forts, with some sandy sections. Daytime traffic is light and nights are quiet; there are no toilets, while old bunkers and beach access are nearby.

From the ferry, 15 minutes along a gravel road to the Northern Forts, at the parking area by the wind turbine. There are a few recesses, some somewhat sandy. Suitable for a van, a little traffic during the day, quiet at night. Wild camping spot. We stayed one night and explored the bunker facilities during the day.
Several parking options and niches, some with benches and tables. No toilets. Nearby are blasted old bunkers to explore, including access to the beach.
