Parking area, variable noise

I had no issues with noise. slept really well. went for a lovely walk the next day

The site is good, but not quiet. Aircraft noise throughout the night and in the morning, plus cars and motorcyclists driving back and forth pointlessly at night and meeting in the parking area. However, there are beautiful walking paths to the villages, with views of Edinburgh and the bridges. Fine for one night, perhaps excellent in rainy or cool weather!✦Translating

Nice quiet spot with around 8 spaces, ideal for stopover just north of Queensferry Crossing. Very little traffic as road only serves as access to oil terminal.

Great spot, 3 other people were there on a Wednesday. Off the road so no noise. Would feel safe camping there solo!

Arrived 8pm on a Sunday, few cars but they left around 9pm. Quiet night sleep in a peaceful area with coastal path nearby. Clean when I was here, no litter around.

A lot of rubbish. My partner and I spent 1.5 hours collecting 70 liters. Please take your rubbish with you ♡ The place itself is okay for one night. We had some cars driving past us, and in the morning dog owners and walkers arrived, so there was quite a lot of traffic. Otherwise, the site is level and large enough for at least 4–5 motorhomes.✦Translating

A lot of waste. We spent 1.5 hours collecting a great deal and filled two 35-liter bags. Take your rubbish with you, otherwise this place will soon be gone too. Directly on the road. Not really very beautiful. There are many level parking spaces. Good place for visiting St Andrews.✦Translating

The parking area is sufficient for one night. It is quiet and private. Despite the many potholes, you can park level. Unfortunately, the heavy rain created very large and deep puddles beneath our camper.✦Translating
