A paid, paved parking area beside the water, with the river’s rushing sound and Weesenstein Castle a 5-minute walk away. The current price is 12€, payable by card, and there is no toilet or other service. Although the nearby road can be loud, traffic is extremely light at night and the surrounding castle grounds and hiking trails are attractive.

I was completely against this site: the road is too close, €12 for a parking space, simply too noisy. My wife said we should stay, so we stayed. Surprisingly, it was very quiet at night, with extremely little traffic. The castle is incredibly beautiful, as is the garden, and the hiking trails are excellent; only the restaurant was closed. There is a meadow for the dogs. So everything was great!Translating

Really nice parking area, but unfortunately the statement below saying “free of charge from 10 p.m. to 10 a.m.” is no longer correct. The 24-hour price for a motorhome/camper is €12, which was too much for us for one night without a toilet. Otherwise, you can certainly spend a peaceful night there.Translating
After a hearty meal at the restaurant at the foot of the castle, we spent a restful night here. €12 is quite a lot for a place with nothing.Translating
