Forêt du Der Nord, 52290, Éclaron-Braucourt-Sainte-Livière
Been here?
Lakeside daytime parking under trees with beautiful water views, accommodating 1–2 vehicles only. Overnight stays possible but severely hampered by intense mosquito swarms, especially at night. Early-morning fishermen arrive with boats. Beautiful spot for swimming and sunset viewing if mosquitoes can be managed.

Wonderful quiet spot, in the shade, beside the lake… very peaceful!
We stopped here for a swim on a very hot Saturday, only one other family there, parked under the trees
Great place, but impossible because of the mosquitoes.
Beautiful beach, welcomed by a swan and birds. Quiet despite a few cars passing at night and at dawn. Magnificent sunset. I highly recommend it.
Great spot, by the water and therefore with mosquitoes :)
The spot is accessible; we slept there for one night with our feet practically in the water. Water activities are possible—we tried paddleboarding—and we even got a very beautiful sunset.
Very pleasant site, with an incredible view of the lake. We spent the night there. Very little traffic at night. It is possible to fit one or at most two vehicles; we were in our 6-meter van. We recommend it.
One of the most beautiful places, but it is rarely free and is only suitable for smaller buses.
Magnificent place. The spot was occupied when we arrived, but we found a good place a little farther on. There is plenty of parking farther along. Light sleepers should beware: many fishermen arrive early in the morning with their boats to launch them.
Magnificent view, a little sound of waves, swimming possible, very peaceful.
This spot was absolutely beautiful when we arrived in the late afternoon, we ate with our feet in the water on this small beach watching te sunset. However, once the night had fallen we got eaten alive by thousands of mosquitos and had to leave.
Great spot for spending one or two nights. There are mosquitoes, certainly, but what else would you expect beside a lake? Quiet, with the sound of small waves lulling you to sleep. I recommend it.
Very beautiful sunset, but it is very small—two or three vans maximum—and beside the road, so you may feel you are in the way. In October, there was nobody there and we were able to sleep on site; the ground is slightly sloped. In the early evening, there are still a few cars and the sound of fighter jets overhead. But once night falls, there is only the sound of the many birds!
Ideal place to park your camper, with an almost private beach and an amazing sunset! The beach is clay, so be careful because it is slippery in the water, but you get a free clay spa treatment for your skin! The only downside is the smell of the water, but I am happy to accept that.
