Monastery parking, quiet nights

We spent two days here. During the day it was somewhat busy because of the monastery—free visit—but at night it was quiet. We needed a mechanic and found a good one 5 km away: Avala Centar Auto. There is water, a toilet, and rubbish bins.✦Translating

Great place to park up for a night or two. Clean, flat and big enough for any size of camper. WCs don’t appear to be open in the winter months and outside water taps removed

There is currently construction work at the site. The access road is unpaved, there is a lot of noise, and everything is covered in dust. Once the work is finished, it will be a good place again. You can park without problems to visit the monastery, but I think sleeping there would be uncomfortable.✦Translating

Excellent day and night. Stayed 3 nights. Used as base for walks to 2 monasteries. Toilet open usually 10-19.00. Long term road works here make it dusty.

This place saved me from an immense storm with thunder and lightning, broken tree branches falling onto the road, and an unstoppable wind... Thankfully I was able to spend the night here. It was completely flat and free of trees or structures that could damage my car or expose me to the dreaded lightning strike.✦Translating
