Flat terrain, beautiful view, quiet, magnificent village. €3 per 24 hours.Translating
We spent a very peaceful night. The village streets lit up at night are magical. The machine does not accept more than €3, which gives you a ticket for 24 hours. Thank you to the municipality.Translating
Very beautiful, very peaceful spot with a magnificent view.Translating
Magnificent place with views and peace. Small parking area with only a few spaces and a very slight slope. Next to a playground with picnic tables. Behind the church, so you can hear its bells. A very peaceful night.Translating
Magnificent village preserved from urban development and nestled among the surrounding mountains. A truly beautiful French village with welcoming shops and artists. The motorhome parking is basic, with a maximum of three or four spaces, €3 per night in this season, and no services. Thank you to the municipality for welcoming us, and please leave this place clean; bins are available.Translating
Very beautiful view over the mountains and village. Slightly sloped. €3 for 24 hours off-season (early October). The village is an absolute must, as is the castle.Translating
Parking area two steps from the village. €3 for 24 hours. One of the most beautiful villages in France. Not to be missed under any circumstances.Translating
Regarding the price: there is an area marked for cars where a van fits without any problem; we slept there, and they charge €3 for the whole day. Be careful with the curbs because it is tight and you could scratch your vehicle. Then there is an area marked for motorhomes. It is much larger and costs €3 for four hours or €15 for 24 hours. A quiet night next to Castellnou with spectacular views.Translating
Paid area: €15 for 24 hours and €3 for four hours. The whole village is paid parking, and there are usually more cars than motorhomes. The ground is uneven in places, but there are flat areas and shaded trees. Good phone coverage.Translating
We stayed overnight on August 2. It says €3 for four hours and €15 for 24 hours, but after paying €3 we received a 24-hour ticket, so I assume that rate is not active. Space for three or four motorhomes. Very quiet night. Picnic area with a small playground nearby. Beautiful village. Highly recommended.Translating
I confirm that this parking area is a gem: for €3 you get 24 hours of parking. Enough time to visit the castle and all the village streets with their shops, take a hike, and sleep in a parking area that is almost deserted in the evening, where you can choose among several spots because it stretches in a winding shape. No barrier, so you can scout it, leave, and come back in!Translating
Perfect for visiting the village, and €3 for 24 hours… clean and very, very quiet for sleeping. We arrived in the morning to visit the village, then left in the afternoon to visit the Orgues d'Ille-sur-Têt site (superb). We returned to Castelnou to sleep; the ticket was still valid. There were two motorhomes overnight—royal treatment. Thank you to this municipality for welcoming motorhomes. Let’s keep this place clean so it can be preserved.Translating
We paid €3 for 24 hours at the beginning of July.Translating
Beautiful! Take the second entrance into the parking area; via the first, you cannot turn around (7 m). €3 for 24 hours off-season.Translating
€3 for four hours. To stay overnight, you have to pay €15. Beautiful village. Four hours is more than enough to see the castle and the village.Translating
A perfect parking area for our 8 m motorhome, ideally located for visiting the village.Translating
Beautiful view and a very pretty village to walk around. It is €15 for an overnight stay not €3 as some have posted.
Very good for visiting.Translating
Fantastic place for one night. Great view, evening walk in the village, very clean. All for 3 euros parking charge.
Lovely little town. Quiet night. Beautiful views.Translating
The parking fee is €3 for four hours (April 2024); overnight stays cost €15, with no services other than a rubbish container. That said, there are many parking areas and the village is pretty and very touristy. Personally, I visited and enjoyed the village but did not stay overnight.Translating
Thank you—the municipality is perfect for stopping and visiting the castle. If it is open, there is a small shop and an excellent restaurant; go and see the stonemason. It is magnificent. So I thank the municipality once again: €3, no problem.Translating
