Rue Ferrière, 39600, Pupillin
Been here?
Free vineyard viewpoint with picnic tables and BBQ. Magnificent views over Pupillin vineyards attract both tourists and locals, especially evenings and harvest season when workers stay overnight. Slightly sloped but accessible to 7.4m motorhomes. Quiet overnight stays possible despite local traffic.

A very mixed experience for us: superb spot but very busy with locals (barbecuing during a period of fires, which still shocks me), and worse, three cars of local youths came here to finish their night at 1:15 a.m. We left an hour later.
Great view and very quiet. Three motorhomes were present when we arrived, occupying five spaces.
Great spot with a magnificent view over the valley and vineyards. Several tables and a barbecue are available.
Quiet and an incredible view over the vineyards!
Superb spot, splendid view with a magical sunset. Little frequented at this time of year; locals spend the evening here.
Ideal spot for lunch, with an incredible view of the vineyards and a large parking area. We love it!
Nice place to spend the night. Beautiful view. Some young people meet there to barbecue together, as a barbecue is available. The young people did not stay overnight, so we slept peacefully. Overall, it is a busy place.
Very beautiful place with a magnificent view over the vineyards in a charming village. Thanks to the municipality; we spent a peaceful night there.
Ideal place to spend the night, with an incredible view over the vineyards and a magnificent sunset. Picnic tables available. (The only minor downside is that several dogs bark nearby.)
We stopped here for lunch. Beautiful view, quiet, with a picnic table available.
Superb viewpoint, can accommodate 6+ motorhomes, slightly sloped but very accessible (7.4 m for me). Quiet night, picnic table and barbecue available. (Beware: very busy during the grape harvest, with workers sleeping in trucks.) A small restaurant, Le Grapiot, is 200 m away. I especially recommend it for wine lovers!
Very busy. But a great view.
Superb view. Great place. But unfortunately, converted trucks have taken over the site as permanent residences. There was a party in the evening, with lots of coming and going and noise. What a shame.
Magnificent 180-degree view over the vineyards. Very quiet, clean and flat. Can accommodate around ten motorhomes if parked properly. Picnic tables and an orientation table.
Magnificent spot, ideal for a quiet night.
Great spot. The view is magnificent, and the ground is almost flat. Spaces are in demand, but it is worth it. The sunset over the vineyards is splendid.
Very beautiful site with an absolutely incredible view over the Pupillin vineyards. There are tables and a small kiosk to sit in. It can accommodate around ten motorhomes or vans. We had a lovely evening, but the night was less enjoyable when a van came and parked right next to ours around 10 p.m., with all the accompanying noise. We were not used to overcrowded spots. Magical place nevertheless.
Magical view! We slept peacefully in the parking area, no problems :)
A beautiful unobstructed view over the vineyards for a lunch break, but very windy. Pretty little village; the parking area isn't flat enough to sleep without using leveling ramps.
Magnificent view, clean and well laid out. Thank you to the municipality.
Lovely, peaceful place with a barbecue. Despite six other vehicles, we were very comfortable and enjoyed a magnificent view over the vineyards. A few picnic tables provide a great spot to watch the sunset.
Very beautiful view for a midday break.
Perfect, with a superb view, flat ground, a barbecue available, and very peaceful.
Ideal location: a magnificent view over the vines; flat ground; set back from the town center; peaceful. Nothing to complain about. Highly recommended.
Wonderful view, great place.
What a beautiful spot—and by that I mean the view. Beautiful and quiet place, good for an overnight stay.
Top-notch. Very beautiful place.
Magnificent place with three picnic tables, a grill, and a small covered pavilion. At some spots, you may need leveling ramps. Little mobile coverage but an incredible view. Unfortunately for us, the rain decided to join us…
A very beautiful, peaceful spot, just a short walk from the village. We spent one night here. Several producers in the village, as well as the wine cooperative. A wide variety of renowned and delicious wines.
Peaceful place with a superb view over the vineyards.
Lovely free parking area overlooking the vines with fine views of the countryside. 4 motorhomes on our stay, bbq, picnic tables, no services but very clean public toilet in the village. Lots of walks, we did a 13km circular to Arbois, shorter options too. Quiet at night, several wine producers with cellars open.
Clean, easy to access, and a very beautiful view.
