Lakeside dam, noisy weekends

Quiet, incredible view, excellent for one night while traveling, with more overnight possibilities nearby. Keep the place clean, collect your rubbish, and leave the area better than you found it. Respect overnight parking and motorhome rules outside the designated areas and you will have no problems.

Please behave respectfully! It is actually a beautiful place, ruined by selfish behavior. If individual travelers think they can park huge expedition trucks across the area, take out camping tables and chairs, and block three to five potential spaces for others and local residents, we should not be surprised by upcoming prohibition signs and police trouble.

Great place, more beautiful than in the photos, very quiet and pleasant. You still have to manage to get down there; there are potholes and bumps, but it is perfectly doable. Not much mobile coverage.

We loved this place! Not too easy for our motorhome with all the potholes and one of the roads that gets you hear is just dirt for a few KM but it is so worth it. Just don't visit it if you're heavy and when it has rained. We enjoyed a swim and a walk. Saw some lobsters in the water as well as plenty of fish. The fishermen are very friendly too. We came back a few days after.

Very beautiful site around the lake, lots of space. Be careful: on weekends there are celebrations everywhere, so it is very noisy, and fishermen and other vans wake you early in the morning. Swimming and fishing site for locals.

Magnificent and truly relaxing place. We were there on a Saturday, so quite a few families came to swim, but everyone was very friendly. You can swim in the lake. A road runs alongside it, but there is very little traffic. It is very accessible; we were in a van, but I think even a motorhome could venture there. There are very few trees for shelter, however.

Beautiful and peaceful countryside. We were alone, but there is space for many vehicles and we were not disturbed in any way. We slept very well; there are many level areas beside the lake. Highly recommended for spending several relaxing days too :)

Pleasant spot but very close to the road. Easy access even in rainy weather. No services.

We spent two nights here. But parked further along the track away from the open area near the bridge out of sight. It felt safer as there were no other campers there. Lots of local dog walkers and shepherds with sheep and goats. We walked all around the mountains with our dogs. Very peaceful place, recommended.

Wonderful place. There are no rubbish bins, so clean up and do not litter this charming place. There are many mosquitoes, but despite that you can sleep very well. It is very peaceful and has great views.

Very pleasant place in nature, quiet even though locals sometimes stop there. The river is not suitable for swimming. Bring mosquito repellent for the evening.

Magnificent place, accessible with my 7 m Chausson Titanium without problems in dry weather. Avoid it absolutely in rainy weather. You are in a dried-up lake that must fill very quickly when it rains. Very quiet, with a few friendly walkers.
