4 Mainparkring, 97246, Eibelstadt
Been here?
This neatly arranged RV area has spacious divided lawns and is a good base for cycling, including approximately 10 km by bike to Würzburg’s old Main bridge. The fee recently reported is 17€, with electricity and water disposal included; showers cost 1€ for five minutes, and payment is cash only. The site has clean toilets and showers, although the sanitary containers can become uncomfortable in hot weather. Trains, the expressway and motorway may be loud, and registration is only from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

I don't agree with some of the negative comments. the price is fair and the offered facilities are fine. This place is a "Stellplatz" not a campground. Facilities such as showers and toilets are a nice bonus. At the end, we all should have these facilities in our vans. If not, one should look for a campground.
Peacefull and quiet place. Clean facilities. Supermarket within easy walking distance.
The pitch is very conveniently located for transport! Würzburg is quickly reachable by bicycle for sightseeing. The only downside is the containers housing the showers and toilets.Translating
Good price and good location for an excursion to Würzburg. But the sanitary containers are absolutely unbearable in hot weather: humidity, temperature, and smell. You don't feel welcome, especially with a dog, and we found the pitches cramped. Very loud because of the railway line, expressway, and motorway.Translating
Very nice pitch, friendly site manager, railway line within earshot, directly on the Main cycling path, ideal for an excursion to Würzburg (about 10 km by bicycle to the Old Main Bridge).Translating
Beautiful pitch on the Main. The fact that the railway runs directly alongside hardly bothered us. Cash only; electricity and waste disposal/fresh water included. Showers: five minutes for €1. We would happily return, thank you!Translating
I also cannot understand the negative comments. I reserved by email and everything worked perfectly. The site is fantastic. Large pitches, beautiful surroundings, and all services available. The trains did not bother us.Translating
I cannot understand the negative reviews. The place is really excellent. All pitches are parceled and very large. The railway noise is tolerable and did not bother us at all. There are showers, two toilets, and electricity. What more could you want for the low price?Translating
Stop for one night. A 20-minute walk to Eibelstadt. €17 plus €1 for a shower. Perfect bread service. Arrival only until 7 p.m., but this is clearly indicated. We would gladly return.Translating
At 6:30 or 7:00 p.m., the entrance barrier is closed. Anyone who opens it independently, without registering, commits trespassing and must leave the site in any case. We reserve the right to report this, even if it is perceived as unfriendly. The reason is explained on our website.Translating
Not recommended. Unfriendly. Nobody there on arrival. No information. Never again.Translating
The site is open! Those who can read have an advantage. The registration sign says to call by phone upon arrival. Everything works perfectly. Showers and toilets are very clean! We can also recommend the site for people with dogs! Those who follow the rules will have no problems. P.S. Before giving other users false information, one simply should not write reviews!Translating
As already mentioned, everything here is spacious and uncomplicated. €17 per night, electricity and waste disposal/fresh water included. The sanitary facilities are not a highlight, but adequate. Shower costs €1. Access to the site only until 7 p.m.! On the other side of the Main, a freight train seems to pass every ten minutes. It is a main railway line. Earplugs are advisable.Translating
The site itself is very beautiful and wonderfully located on the Main, although the sanitary facilities are somewhat dated. However, the enormous noise from the railway line on the other side of the Main is unacceptable. Freight trains thunder past every five minutes, day and night, making peaceful sleep absolutely impossible.Translating
It is a hybrid site combining a motorhome stop and a campsite, though with more campsite elements. Pitched sites, registration, a barrier, and many rules, such as only certain pitches allowing dogs. In return, there are showers, a washing machine, a nice meadow, and electricity included. But you must be registered to use the shower and washing machine, and registration is only occasionally staffed.Translating
€5 surcharge for vehicles over 7.5 m—no thanks.Translating
They don't allow dogs? Very strange for Germany. Keep your puddle of water and mosquitoes; we're moving on.Translating
We are here for four days and it suits us. Very nicely located on the Main cycling path. €17 all-in is fine for a camper with two people and no dog. A place where dogs are not favored for once—keep it up.Translating
Totally okay for one night. Much more could be made of this motorhome stop. We paid €17 for the car and two adults. The shower cost €1 for five minutes. There are only two showers and two toilets per gender. There is a jetty from which you can go swimming in the Main. Dogs apparently are not particularly welcome.Translating
When we came by again after four years, everything was as before: friendly welcome, clean toilets and showers. The bread service was effortless and delicious. We were still out by car late in the evening and returned to the site without any problems. Of course, they asked whether we had paid, but anyone who needs to make a living can understand that.Translating
I don't really get the bad reviews, but great place. Owner really nice we came late and got a place even if the parking/camping is almost full. But you have to arrive before 7, than the gate closes. El and water on site. Even showers if you want to in containers. Buses to Würzburg going every hour, but there is a nice playground in the nearest town by the river beach.
Only for standard motorhomes.Translating
I cannot understand the negative reviews. The site manager was friendly at check-in at 3 p.m. The sanitary facilities are not oversized but always clean. Ideal for cycling tours in both directions.Translating
Extremely unfriendly staff! The registration sign says registration from 6 p.m., but if you simply drive through and have a dog that urinates on the grass, you are immediately expelled from the site!
Exceptionally rude man on reception, plenty of space but the reception male appears to have his own NO DOG policy even though the webpage advertises dogs welcome. Avoid this place unless you enjoy rudeness !!!
Quite noisy because of the railway line and road nearby. Not particularly friendly at reception. Fine for one night, but no more than that. Restricted entry and exit times. Showers only suitable for small people.
Not for large motorhomes. We had to park in the parking area because the pitch is not designed for 9 m motorhomes. Prices are now €17/22 including electricity. Dog owners beware: they are placed separately at the edge. The site manager is more than unfriendly! Otherwise, it is quiet.
Good motorhome stop for trips to Würzburg. Toilets and showers are available and always clean. Good restaurants next door. More restaurants and shopping nearby. The bread service worked perfectly. You can hear the trains, but they did not bother us.
I was passing through. Using the disposal machine costs €3 for non-overnight visitors and €0.90 for guests staying at the motorhome stop. Disposal is possible there year-round. There is also a snack bar for summer days, and the cycle path access is really good. In theory, it has everything, hence three stars. I personally would not park there because I don't find it attractive.
We stayed here for one night while passing through. Fine and clean sanitary facilities.
We liked it because you could cycle to beautiful Wirzburg and yet park safely. The showers were adequate and we didn’t particularly notice excess dog poo or noise.
What kind of ridiculous motorhome stop is this, where you are criminally prosecuted after 7 p.m.?! Enjoy doing your thing without us. 7 p.m.! I can't believe it.
Well, a meadow. You can't see the Main, there is no view, just a meadow. I can get that anywhere. Dogs are tolerated, but they seem to be a red flag for the club. Container showers.
clean alongside the river Main dogs are not allowed to mess on site ? just pick it up but I have to say the boat bistro is fabulous and very friendly such a nice guy makes you fell welcome
As soon as we arrived, they asked whether we had a dog. We said no, so they told us it was not a problem in that case. We did not understand this, since there were lots of dogs, and we even found dog poop on our pitch the next day. The pitches are very well marked, the bathroom is basic but adequate, and the only flaw is that there is no place to wash dishes. The young man from the water sports club was friendly.
We stayed here for one night. Arrival before 7 p.m., otherwise it is closed. The site is in a meadow… camper and trailer? €19 with electricity. Shower: bring a €1 coin for 5 minutes. Note that the showers have no individual doors, just a curtain, with two adjacent cubicles. Don't be shy.
We spent 2 nights and everything was perfect. We have a dog and were placed near the parking area. These spots are perfect for taking the dog out, shaded at lunchtime, and offer the best sunsets. €14 with electricity, €1 for a shower, €1 for water. Very clean container bathrooms. On the cycle path. WARNING: reception closes at 7 p.m.
