4A Straßer Weg, 89278, Nersingen
Been here?
This is a free community motorhome parking area beside a pleasant small lake, with four large, level spaces and a small bin. The road and railway are audible, but recent stays have generally been quiet overnight; the lake is about 2 minutes away on foot. There is no supply or disposal facility, and visitors are asked to take their rubbish away. A pizzeria is about 100 m away, a shop and bakery about 800 m away, and the potholed approach is manageable for vehicles up to 7.5m.

Very good spot, with a lovely lake just a two-minute walk away. We were not too bothered by the noise.
The place is good for an overnight stay. You can hear the road and railway. There is a small rubbish bin. The lake was important to me because my dogs could swim in it.
First of all, thanks to the municipality for this free parking area. It is unfortunate that some people leave their rubbish here even though the bin is full; it is only a matter of time before the site is closed. Really sad.
Very nice place for one night! Despite the road and train traffic, the night was very quiet. The lake is great for swimming and provides a welcome cool-down. Thanks to the municipality for this good free site. Campers, please take your rubbish with you and do not leave it in nature!
Appreciated the free parking, thank you. Good for a wild swim. Very busy with campers still arriving after 10pm. The birds, frogs and nature in full song all night!
Great parking area and ideal for walking. Relatively quiet at night.
The four spaces are nicely level and large enough. Road traffic and the railway line are audible but not disturbing. The only thing possibly missing is rubbish bins. Many guests relieve themselves in the bushes, and some campers simply release their grey water when leaving. It is a shame that such places are not appreciated accordingly.
Four large, designated parking spaces. Quiet night. Pleasant walk along the lake.
Great parking area. The access road is somewhat potholed, but even 7.5 m motorhomes can manage it easily.
Four quiet spaces at Lake Nersingen. Also ideal if you have a dog. Recommended for a free site.
Perfect for one night; we were looking for something near Legoland. The spaces are lit, otherwise there are no extras, but we knew that. It was a very quiet night. VW T4.
Many thanks for this very practical facility! Next to a small lake, very pleasant and close to Legoland park.
Well thank you Nersingen community, a nice uncomplicated safe overnight place to stop. A little noise from the road , railway and the mating frogs in the pond ?. I wish every town provided something as simple as this. We don’t need water filling, emptying or electric, that seems to attract freeloaders who then stay for weeks or more.
Parking area with four spaces, quiet and surrounded by nature. We spent one night here before going to Legoland. There is neither water nor electricity. I recommend it.
The spaces are level, and we were able to park well here for one night while passing through. Traffic, regional trains and the road can be clearly heard from 6:00 a.m. Recommendation to the town or municipality: install rubbish bins there, also for visitors who are not in motorhomes. Thank you.
We spent one night here. Excellent and quiet!
Beautiful newly created site, with lighting; the lake is pleasant and easy to reach. The road and railway line did not bother us. Ideal for one night. No rubbish bins, so please take everything with you to keep it clean. Thank you for providing places like this.
Actually a nice place, but poorly signposted, and guests simply leave their rubbish lying around. Very sad. But knowing that this used to be a landfill, I would not want to stay there.
Beautiful area without any services. Very nice swimming lake.
The site itself is great. Pizzeria within walking distance. The lake is also really nice. Unfortunately, two of the four spaces are occupied by motorhomes that stay permanently. That is not really the point of the site. The municipality should do something about it.
