Parque de Campismo do Bostelim

On this first of July, it is a blessing to find this simple, authentic little campsite. Many regulars, but calm and very friendly. The owner goes out of her way to be welcoming and helpful. Swimming in the reservoir is a real privilege in this arid region. Toilets and showers are exceptionally clean. Price for one 4x4 with a camper unit and two people: €13.✦Translating

April 2: we were the only ones in the park. We arrived early in the morning and the gate was open. We entered and spent the night in one of the spaces. The water facilities were not working and all other facilities were closed. The park was in poor condition but naturally so for this time of year. One positive point: electricity was working. For a brief stop at this time of year, it seems ideal without major problems.✦Translating

Great campsite. River has been damned to make a swimming pool. Bar and toilet block. Lots of shade, permanent bbqs and benches. We were here Saturday 7th June and decided to stay a second night. Last night a large motorcycle club also camped, noisey in the evening but nice people no problem. ✦Translating

At this time of year, there is no charge. Quiet area, with electricity and a dishwashing area. It is somewhat abandoned. For tents it is poor at this time because the grass is very high. For motorhomes it is great. Very good river beach.✦Translating

Nice place at Praia Fluvial. Grass for tents and paved surfaces for campers. Small bar/restaurant, friendly people.✦Translating

We spent a quiet night here. All amenities available. Space for two people with electricity: €15.50. The bar and restaurant open on June 15.✦Translating

Very nice camp, no charge this time of year, just not maintained at the moment since it is before season, therefore high grass but all around clean, spots are on gravel. Quiet, all you hear are birds and the creek. Services except showers and WC available. We were alone here, our dog and us absolutely loved it ! ✦Translating

I visited in January. The park was not operating; everything was disabled. The space is good but lacks some shade. Good clean running water and a good place to rest. There is a 9.5 km walking route, half of which runs along the riverbank. Very beautiful.✦Translating
