The drive there is challenging because of the tight switchbacks, and the toilets are not easily accessible at night. The outdoor shower is great! We were lucky to share a folk-dance evening at sunset, which was great fun. Practically speaking, you pay per night plus access to the shower. Phillip is welcoming, but the experience was mixed. Basic, outdated, and not always clean sanitary facilities. In August, we were repeatedly told that there was no more water—spring water, with no connection to the municipal supply—so no shower was possible. The next day, each of us had a very short shower with a child, and we were charged €8 for four showers! Isn't spring water free? Hiking trails can be accessed by car. No card payments.✦Translating
