Crowded in Saturday evening, but toilets and bathrooms very clean and nice, modern, just you need to pay extra for shower 3 minutes, but it is enough, you can stop the water anytime. You can use a kitchen with equipment. 5 euro deposit for entrance card, 29euro for one night 2 person 1 dog and two chips for shower (1,2eur one chip).
Everything was neat and clean. The pitches were completely fine. Emptying grey and black water was easy, and refilling water also went smoothly. The station nearby is excellent. In 15 minutes by cog railway you can reach a beautiful hiking area. Taking the train to Tatranská Lomnica is also wonderful. Highly recommended.
Small campsite, ideal if you are near the High Tatras for one night. Large, clean bathrooms (showers work with separate tokens) and a shared kitchen. A steep ramp leads to it, but there is a new motorhome area.
Neat campsite with extensive sanitary facilities (showers via tokens, €1.50 per 3 minutes). The highest pitches have a beautiful view. Steep access road, but there are also some motorhome pitches lower down that are flatter.
Nice, manageable campsite with many grassy areas. Since it has rained here in recent days, it was somewhat wet, and there were also a few paved pitches. Showers and toilets were adequate and always clean. A visit to the railway station and the cog railway is an experience.
Great campsite for exploring the Tatras. New showers. New concrete pitches for caravans, or you can use the grassy areas. Electricity is available everywhere. Wi-Fi is a little weak. Be careful, they accept cash only.
Been there over the weekend; a bit older (reminding me my childhood when i was going regularly to High Tatras with my parents) but owners trying to extend and refurbish; all services available for fair price; very close to mountain train heading up to Strbske Pleso, from where you can get to east upto Poprad; High Tatras are beautiful.
The campsite is a 10-minute walk from the station for trains to the lakes (15 minutes by cog railway). The sanitary block is clean and practical; hot water costs €1.50. Services, bar and restaurant available. Perfect for discovering the lakes.
Great location to visit the beautiful Strbske Lake. It was very busy but we managed to find a more quite spot on the highest ledge of the campsite and had a lovely view over the valley. Great facilities, showers are good, you have to buy tokens €1.50 for 3mins.
We had a very pleasant stay at this campsite. Everything we needed was available, and the facilities were well-equipped and maintained. Despite the large number of young campers staying there, the restrooms and common areas were always clean and tidy. The campsite was well organized, and we were very satisfied with our experience. We would gladly stay here again and recommend it to others.
For two nights as a solo traveller with electricity and tourist tax, I paid about €48. That is okay considering the good connection to the High Tatras. I found the music playing constantly in the toilet somewhat annoying. Cleanliness is acceptable (hair in the sinks for two days). The kitchen tap was broken, and of the three gas stoves, only one burner worked.
Basically very well equipped, clean and tidy. Very friendly welcome. It is great that there are several options for sitting under a roof when it rains. The only deduction is for the showers, which cost extra. Unfortunately, the playground was only partly usable (broken trampoline and football goals). Aquacity in Poprad is also highly recommended.
Good camping and good facilities. Friendly staff. Peaceful place. Clean and neat toilets and showers. The railway station nearby (about 500 m) to get to the mountains, hiking routes and other villages.
Everything was good for us. Sanitary facilities, pitch and view are good. They are currently building in the upper section and creating comfortable terraces. We stayed in the middle section and only needed to level slightly with ramps.
Great camping side. I see in the comments that the plate they have at the entrance causes some confusion. They do accept dogs, and there’s plenty of space for them. Toilets and showers are in great condition. We paid EUR 27.00/night for 2 adults and a dog. Highly recommended!
Very good site with everything you need. Dogs are naturally welcome. The only downside is that some of the pitch rows are very sloped, so even levelling ramps are not enough.
Dogs are not allowed here. I left.
Clean, beautiful view, friendly. Short walk to the Tatra railway to Strbske Pleso. You can also park outside for €9 instead of paying €40–50 up above.
As others have written, the campsite is on a slope, so levelling ramps or extra pieces of wood, such as wooden boards, are useful. Otherwise there is more than enough space, it is well maintained, and it is very well located for hikes and excursions in the High Tatras. The price is perfectly reasonable for such an elite location.
Great and very clean campsite. Showers (with a coin for 3 minutes), toilets and the motorhome service station are clean and well maintained. Very friendly welcome. The restaurant is also highly recommended. The only two disadvantages are that payment is cash only and it is relatively expensive (€35 for one night with a camper, two adults and electricity).
Very well located and quiet; the only drawback is that the shower costs extra! €23 per night in a roof tent.
The price was €26 for a motorhome and two people including electricity. The electricity did not work! Showers were from 30 years ago and only lukewarm! Parking was a free-for-all on mostly uneven ground. And it was cash only! Not impressed at all! The train up to the yarn was good, though.
€35 for 2 adults, 2 children and a dog. Waste disposal and water services excellent. Pitches partly very uneven. Electricity only on the lower terraces. Restaurant and toilets are okay. Pitches are gradually being renovated. Nevertheless, we felt very comfortable. Very good starting point for hikes. Shopping available 150 m away. Owners very friendly and committed. We can recommend the site.
The campsite is in a beautiful location, the sanitary facilities are clean and very well maintained! It is on a hillside with terraced layout, but there are very few level areas. The electricity supply is limited on these pitches. There were many people, which made this difficult. The staff are very kind and extremely helpful!
Beautiful campsite, perfect for visiting the lake and surrounding area. Very clean and well maintained. Adriana, the receptionist, is very kind and attentive. Very fair price for the area.
Beautiful views of the Tatras. There is a kitchen, gas stoves, a refrigerator and hot water. The showers are well maintained, although paid (€1.20 for 3 minutes). No reservation is needed; there was enough space upon arrival.
Superb, the first campsite in Slovakia deserving five stars, with all services including Wi-Fi, perfect welcome and a fair price.
We have been here several times. Cash only, reservations not required. A nature-oriented site, clean sanitary facilities, 10 minutes to the cog railway into the mountains or to the station with connections throughout Slovakia. You can shop next door at the mini-market, which has everything you need. Some pitches are very uneven, so be sure to bring levelling ramps.
Beautifully laid-out campsite with a great view of the Tatra mountains, arranged in terraces. Bus and cog railway are easily accessible. When wet, there is a risk of getting stuck in the grass.
All the parking areas are a little sloped, so it is not easy to find a spot. In the low season, about €30 for two dogs and two adults. The sanitary facilities are very clean and tidy. There is a small kitchen with a refrigerator, three stoves and basic equipment. The staff are very friendly, and the station is a 15-minute walk away.
It is not easy to find a flat spot, but what bothered us most was the lack of reception. We arrived at 3, the lady came around 6, and there were misunderstandings due to the language regarding the tourist tax and the extra charge for showers. Current prices: €9/camper, €6/person, €2 tax/person, €1.20/shower/person. It adds up and has therefore been made unnecessarily complicated. Five stars for the location!
We were not impressed. VW T5 and two people with two shower tokens (3 minutes of warm water) cost €23 for one night. Every pitch on the grass is sloped. The road up to the pitches is a steep stone/asphalt road. There was no paper for drying hands in the toilets, ceiling lights were broken, sinks were blocked and the aerators needed replacing.
