A simple street parking spot near Salamanca’s old town, cathedral and Plaza Mayor, with views of the basilica and cameras behind a college. It has no services and limited space, especially for large vehicles. Nights are generally suitable for staying, though some traffic and occasional noise are possible. Parking is paid at certain daytime hours and free at weekends from Saturday at 14h.

Very good for visiting the city, and for the night, though it is a little noisy. Be careful: paid during certain hours of the day, free at weekends from Saturday at 2 p.m.
The location is excellent: it is very close to the old town, the cathedral and the Plaza Mayor, so you can walk to the main tourist attractions. In short, a simple, well-located and very convenient place to spend the night. Everything was quiet overnight, with no noise or problems. The ground is quite flat, which makes parking and resting much easier.
It was Wednesday. The marked spaces were all occupied, so we parked on the side street. Safe and good, and 10 minutes from the old town. However, at night the rubbish collection vehicle drove to the bins every 20 minutes to empty them one by one, then returned the next time, continuing for 2.5 hours. I don't know whether this happens every Wednesday. Otherwise it was fairly quiet, with more distant traffic starting at 7 in the morning.
Good place to park. Super close to the centre, but it's better to arrive at night. During the day it is very difficult to park, especially if you have a large vehicle.
Not much space, beside a road that is quiet at night, with an incredible view of the basilica!
