Been here?
A daytime parking area at a viewpoint with four campervan spaces. Recent information states that overnight stays are prohibited and the electricity is switched off. The place is suitable for a quiet break, with a viewpoint tower, waste bins and some road and wind-turbine noise. Access to the view requires climbing the stairs.

Camping is not allowed, and there is no view unless you climb the stairs. Not recommended. !!!!!!!!Translating
Perfect spot, free electricity, and it remains quiet despite being close to the road.Translating
Great place for the camper.Translating
Sheltered from the wind and definitely worth stopping at. Beautiful view from the tower. We did not stay overnight, but we also found no indication that overnight stays are forbidden. The wind turbines could be disturbing at night.Translating
Overnight stays are forbidden here! On April 3, 2026, at around 10 p.m., the police woke us up and sent us away.Translating
If the wind is blowing in the right direction, you won't be bothered by the noise. There is one post you should not press; the other one provides free electricity for one hour. Bins are available. Leave everything tidy so this place can remain open.Translating
I have never experienced a parking place with free electricity before. Very beautiful view from the tower. The first power post on the left does not switch off and provides continuous power ;-) The wind turbine was noticeably louder at night than expected, and the road was also clearly audible. Nevertheless, a beautiful place.Translating
We were alone there. Occasionally walkers passed by. Somewhat noisy because of the road, and in strong winds you can hear the wind turbines, but with four spaces, one hour of free electricity, and camera surveillance, it deserves four stars.Translating
After checking with all relevant authorities, the municipality and Rijkswaterstaat gave the green light for overnight stays. Leave everything tidy and, if there are no complaints, it will remain allowed!Translating
We stayed here for the second time, at different intervals. The site is quiet, with free electricity in one-hour increments. The former portable toilets have been removed. You may also have the chance to see a fox. Overall, a really great free site. We were completely alone in the low season.Translating
Very good facilities. Quiet.Translating
A very unique and particularly cool place on and beneath gigantic human infrastructure. I stayed there for two nights last year; there was some noise from people who still wanted to climb the observation tower in the evening, but so be it. PS: apparently it has since changed from day-and-night parking to daytime only.Translating
What a beautiful spot. Free. Four motorhome spaces, each with its own power outlet. Press the button for one hour of free electricity. The view of the locks from the observation tower is magnificent. Bin available. About 3 km away at Grevelingen beach on Strandweg, there are toilet buildings where you can get water, empty the chemical toilet, use the toilet, or take a cold shower. These are of course closed in winter.Translating
If you're lucky enough to get a free space, this is a very good spot. One hour of free electricity for the vehicle and the possibility of charging e-bikes for free. A good starting point for birdwatchers and people interested in the ship locks and the Delta Works.Translating
Today, August 18, 2023, I contacted the Municipality of Schouwen-Duiveland, and overnight stays are NOT allowed here!Translating
A fantastic place. There are four camper spots with free electricity and a viewpoint for observing one of the country's most important dams.Translating
