A convenient parking lot near the Connewitz district, reachable on foot and sheltered by trees. There are bins but no services, and daytime parking is paid. Nights were previously quiet, although the site is becoming increasingly restless at night.

Adequate! We have been here several times, but it is becoming increasingly noisy at night on the site.
We spent one night there. Very convenient parking, on the road but protected by trees and with rubbish bins. Close to Connewitz, a very nice neighborhood accessible on foot from the parking area. Absolutely recommended! Safe travels to everyone!
Very conveniently located! The night was quiet.
No services, but a quiet place on the edge of the forest. Very pleasant compared with the paid autocamp. The town is within walking distance (Connewitz district). The boat-rental place helped us with water. We spent three nights without any problems. Paid during the day. We felt safe.
On weekends, public holidays, during school holidays and in good weather, it is usually very busy here, as this is the parking area for the free wildlife park opposite and the boat-rental business located here, so there is a lot of maneuvering during the day. There is also a busy road with a bus line serving the city center and Markkleeberg to the south toward the lakes. During the season, there is food and drink at the wildlife park.
