Fishing-pond parking, overnight road noise

Stayed for the night after a late shuttle crossing. car park with room for about 12 vehicles. There is a bin, no other facilities. Fairly quiet spot, with local fishermen regularly using the car park. Bit of road noise overnight, but fine for somewhere for one night.

lovely little park up, very peaceful place just to chill and get your head down, close to town for takeaways or restaurants,would definitely stay here again

Had a quiet night. Although it is close to the main road, there is not much traffic at night. Locals park there to jog and fish. Everyone is very friendly. There are benches and tables for sitting and picnicking. Very pleasant. A walk around the lake is recommended. I can recommend staying here.

After a very late tunnel crossing we stopped here on the way to Germany. The parking lot was huge, only one other van there. In the morning there were dog walkers and fisherman parking up but they seemed more than happy with us being there. Would recommend.

Ideal before crossing to England. Busy during the day, but even in summer and at weekends it was quiet at night.

Very beautiful area, lots of dog walkers and fishers. Supermarket about 10 minutes drive, 22 minute cycle away. Bins around but no other amenities. Lovely walks. One night here was perfect after getting off the ferry in Dover.

Great for 1 night… only the sound of the birds for company..lovely walk around the lake

Ideal for one night, but bear in mind that many walkers pass by. Once it gets dark, nobody is around anymore.
