City parking, all-night traffic

You can certainly stay overnight there. It was too exposed for us between the roads. We continued to the other side of the river. A good place for the day.

Stay there only for break and sightseeing.

Today it was closed by the police for a musical performance.

Immediately beside a heavily trafficked road. Too loud for us to spend the night.

Great place for one night. Spacious parking area, beautiful view, and the town is right here. However, the road to Riga runs nearby, so cars drove past all night.

Excellent for one or two nights! I deduct one star because dogs are forbidden in the park. A tip for a great breakfast: At Hotel Jelgava you can eat very well for 13 euros! With a dog. At the beach, about 10 minutes away, there is a beach resort with public toilets.

As of today, 29/07/2023, it is closed, presumably for at least the whole weekend. Today, the 30th, it is open again.

Free parking, large enough for a 7.5-meter motorhome. Good for exploring the nearby sights on foot.

The place is really well suited for visiting the city. There are trash bins and everything is easily reachable on foot. We could not find toilets anywhere. It can get louder in the evening, with loud music and honking cars. For us, however, it became much quieter at 10 p.m., so we had a pleasant night. The parking area is lit all night.
