We had to arrive outside the opening hours; we called and were accommodated without any problem. Flat, spacious pitches and clean bathrooms. The maximum height for entry is 3 m because you have to pass under a bridge.
Beautifully situated in nature, a very quiet place by a body of water. Very nice and friendly operators. The site is in top condition. There is a “short” approach from the IC1/N267 junction, but it is limited to 3.50 m in height. Coming from the south, you can reach the site a few kilometers farther on without a height restriction. Shopping is available at the Mercado in Sao Marcos.
Please note: campsite closed until January 2026!
No whining children. Fantastic.
A gem in the Algarve. You can seek out the crowds, but peace and quiet begins as soon as you drive onto the sandy road. We thoroughly enjoyed it, especially the swimming pool.
Very beautiful surroundings and a very well-maintained small campsite with friendly owners. A few drawbacks: no toilet paper, and the paved dirt road leading there is not very easy, so it is certainly unsuitable for large motorhomes: 8 m and over 3.2 m high.
A true paradise! An oasis of peace, space and nature. What Bert and Thea have accomplished here over 20 years deserves great respect. Everything is super clean, tidy and perfectly organized. The facilities are of a high standard. And there is a wonderful swimming pool with warm salt water. You are welcomed very warmly and personally seen off when you leave.
Very beautiful, secluded small site in nature, ideal for hikers and those seeking peace and quiet. Superbly maintained. Very friendly operator. Tip: shop beforehand, as grocery stores are 45 minutes on foot or 15 minutes by bike away.
Excellent campsite. Don‘t be discouraged by some of the 1 star reviews, those are people who cannot accept that this campsite does not accept children under the age of 18 any more. This is clearly noted everywhere. It is the most well maintained, looked after place i have come across. Its main advantage is the cleanliness and quietness. We would recommend this place!
Beautiful campsite in nature. Peace and quiet, neat toilet block, spacious pitches, lovely swimming pool. In short, highly recommended!
Very beautiful grounds. Perfect for hiking and relaxing. Great importance is attached to acting economically, i.e. using resources consciously. There is a saltwater pool—very refreshing. We received tips for walks in the surrounding area. The grounds are exceptionally well maintained. Internet access is limited.
It’s a nice camping with probably the best facilities I’ve seen. The owners are Dutch, as are 80% of the people staying here. The owners are very kind but also a bit strict on rules. They have several hiking options around, and their surroundings are beautiful. Not 5 stars because 22€ a night is expensive imo and no toilet paper.
Very nice campsite close to nature. Clean and tidy everywhere.
Quiet, very well-maintained, manageable top site in a wonderful hiking area. Beautiful views of the landscape. Much thought has gone into this place, including compost waste in the waste separation. We stayed only two nights because there are unfortunately almost no shaded pitches.
Beautiful place, large pitches and a lovely swimming pool. Beautiful hiking area; cycling is also possible, but with e-bikes. A drawback is that there is no toilet paper in the toilet. The sanitary facilities are very neat, though.
