Unnamed Road, 81320, Nages
Been here?
Shaded daytime parking at the Maison de Payrac, beside several walking routes and a bird-discovery path. It is a quiet place for a picnic and van stop, with the open-air museum presenting a restored mountain farmhouse and local architecture. There is no water tap, but rubbish containers are available, and overnight camping is prohibited.

A shady and peaceful spot. Perfect for a picnic with a van.
Pleasant place. Picnic area. A very nice starting point for a walk.
Great place, quiet. Good for a picnic break and a walk.
Sunday 05/09 at 5 p.m., the mayor of Nages left a note on the windshield of my H2 L2 Master, parked in the lot, with nothing set up. “We obtained the Blue Flag label in 2021, which prohibits camping outside recognized facilities.” (See photo). What a shame, as it is a great place: beautiful walks and lots of information about the local heritage.
