Flat gravel parking, early traffic noise

We stayed one night. We arrived late. Very dark, a little sinister, especially since we were alone. We stayed because we were too tired. There are many trees and the birds are a bit noisy for those who are not deep sleepers. In the end it was ok.

Pleasant place to spend the night, and it is possible to stay several nights. We did not find the road mentioned in an earlier review busy or noisy. The parking area borders a small park with a football field and playground a little farther away.✦Translating

stayed on a Friday night in June, was quite flat & plenty of shade. As others said there is a sign warning you that thieves in the area but we had no issues. The road had a few cars passing but was very quiet after 10. Another camper was also using the space. Lovely walk around the lake at sunset. The toilets were portaloos but seemed clean. Remember your mosquito repellent in the summer months!

Usually, when it says 15 minutes from the city, that means on foot, but this spot is several kilometres away and the stated time is by car. Otherwise, we had a good night, woken a little early by traffic from people going to work.✦Translating

Perfectly quiet; locals come to walk around the lake. Be careful, there is a sign warning that thieves are prowling around the car park. There were tyre marks on the ground; young people seem to use the area for donuts in the evening. We did not stay overnight for fear of disturbance, as we have animals.✦Translating
