An exposed wild spot above 2000 m with a magnificent view over the valley and lake, on the sunny south side. The ground can be slightly uneven, and the space is probably suitable for 2 vans. Recent access was muddy, and the descent into the valley is prohibited for vehicles over 5m long. Larger campers or trucks should approach from the Swiss side, as the Italian road is challenging.

We stopped here in the middle of the night because we had not found anything earlier. Unfortunately, we could not enjoy the wonderful view because of the weather. The access road was very muddy and not really designed for several campers. The descent into the valley is closed to vehicles over 5 meters long and should not be attempted. Also, be sure to observe the 3.20-meter height limit!
Gigantic view, slightly uneven, and quiet in the off-season. PLEASE keep it clean! Attention: from Chiavenna in the south, there are several tunnels with a height limit of 3 m in the center and 2.3 m at the sides. From Splügen in the north, there is a small bridge just outside Splügen with a maximum width of 2.4 m!
We filled up with diesel here and cleaned our windscreen. The owner was very kind and allowed us to fill our water tank.
