CityCamp Assens Strand

It is a lovely campsite, everything is new and clean, and we paid 600 kroner per night for a comfort pitch with free access to the swimming pool. Assens is a cozy town and we will definitely return.

Huge camping site, which caters best for families with children. Way to expensive. For campervans a Standard place suffice: don't go for Luxury or L+ as it does not give you any extra. Try to avoid the Marina: boaters can be noisy as well as the road. You pay extra for swimming pool (40dkk) and for sauna (80dkk). Only open during day time, a nuisance. Unpersonal. Extra star for superb sanitation!

Super nice and modern site with every detail in order. The price may seem high to some, but everything is really well maintained. There are shops just outside the site and several options for getting food within a short walk. We will definitely come back!

We stayed on the area reserved only for motorhomes. There is plenty of space, although it could use divisions with bushes. It feels impersonal. The sauna and swimming pool cost extra. We have stayed at many sites, but we have never seen sanitary facilities this clean. Ten points for that! The kitchen is also top-notch. With ACSI, we paid €54 plus a €15 environmental surcharge for two nights. Good for families, but not for us.

Great campsite, if it can still be called that. It is more of a high-end wellness campsite. In April 2026, we paid €54 for one night for two people, including everything: swimming pool, water slide, sauna, steam bath, and jacuzzi. A superb spa area. The site is very well maintained and extremely clean. The buildings and sanitary facilities are neat and clean. A bit of luxury costs money.

Beautiful, almost new and well-maintained campsite. The sanitary facilities are spotless and equipped with everything you need. During our week, the new swimming pool was kept open for our children—how thoughtful! Nice playgrounds and a pleasant walking area just around the corner. Within walking distance of the town, where you receive discounts at many places by showing your campsite pass. We will definitely return.

There are no pitches for 199 kroner; I do not know where that price came from. The price is 456 kroner plus 30 kroner for emptying the toilet, with an additional charge for a dog and cat. The price is not stated on their website. The water point is 100 metres away and the toilet-dumping point is 400 metres away. Very windy site. New toilets. Far too expensive for our needs. We already have our own kitchen, bathroom and toilet.

One night for a motorhome and two people cost €52 at a site where there is barely room for the vehicle. We were parked with our backs to the road and 100 metres from a very loud venue with wannabe singers, with no sea view, and emptying the camper costs extra. We are disappointed and will not return. The sanitary facilities are excellent, 1+.

Excellent campsite. It is somewhat more expensive, but worth every cent. Very friendly reception, and you can freely choose a pitch from various categories, from standard to deluxe, with the price varying accordingly. We have never seen sanitary facilities cleaned as thoroughly anywhere else! We would happily return.

Lovely new site with beautiful new toilet buildings. Everything is neat and clean. The site is within walking distance of the town and lies between the beach and the marina. Two nights for two adults cost 773 kroner.

it is a very lovely place, with kind peoble at the country. the services are brand new and very moderne, the service is All Thatcher you can Thing of. Big recommendation from us.

CityCamp Assens Strand is fantastic, with its perfect location right by the beach. The facilities are clean and well maintained, and the staff are incredibly welcoming. It is an ideal place for both relaxation and family fun, with plenty of activities. Assens town is close by and pleasant to visit. I will definitely come again.

Beautifully located by the beach, with clean sanitary facilities. The pitches at the front by the beach are challenging for motorhomes over 6 metres. Very muddy when it rains. Apparently a swimming pool is due to be completed next year; until then, the entrance is still somewhat of a construction site. Fine for one or two nights, but a little expensive.
