This is free daytime parking at the beginning of Sogndalstrand, suitable for visiting the old harbour village. Three different hikes start from here, including a route to a viewpoint. The parking area is very small and best suited to vehicles under 6metres.

Free parking, contrary to what the description says. Perfect for discovering the pretty town and reaching the viewpoint (follow the sign at the end of the dead-end street).
We parked in this parking area to visit the village; it is free.
Not accessible today; they were installing a sign with prices, 100 NOK for up to 3 hours and 100 NOK for the day, so very expensive...
No charge, as the description mentioned, for tourists. Good spot for daytime parking only to visit the old seaport town.
