The pitches are not all level, so leveling blocks are essential here. It is shady and clean. The sanitary facilities, although not modern, are spotless. The laundry is a plus. The manager is very kind and caring. The only problem was dogs barking continuously in the neighboring village. So it is not for light sleepers! Numerous hikes nearby.✦Translating

Caters primarily for long termers and holiday lets. Approx 20 places for motorhomers, toilets and showers were clean but no black OR grey water waste. Large sites for Spain. Easy walking distance to Valez. End of February deserted which was a pleasant change. ✦Translating

On route visit for a night 2nd Dec well worth the 10 mins excursion off motorway. Lovely location up in the hills, easy access. Current tel no given not working but owners there and checked us in. Very cool campsite, quite busy, with a camping area, bungalows for rent, and a camping area for caravans or motorhomes. Everything has water and electricity. Showers and toilets are quite good.✦Translating

Campsite at an altitude of 1,000 meters in the heart of Andalusia. The pitches were average—not huge, but not too small either. The pool left a lot to be desired, partly because of the people who use it. It is fine for one night, but only if you are passing through.✦Translating

Disappointing. Mainly annual pitches and bungalows, with only 16 touring pitches. Sites are sloping and dusty. Water and electricity are fine. Sanitary facilities are clean. You will not find peace here. Ridiculously expensive: €28 for a motorhome with electricity.✦Translating

High up (1010 m), covered in Pine trees, so quite windy, shady, cool. Most plots occupied by long stay campers. None of whom are here now (early Feb) , I guess popular when it’s hot. It’s fresh and quiet. Just birdsong. Inky black night sky, bright stars. Phone mast on site (we’re on top of a mountain) so signal very strong. EU 25 for 2 includes water, power, showers. Facilities are fine. ✦Translating

I give one star because less is not possible. Quite neglected, with no maintenance of any kind. We came here to see the Los Letreros caves and only stayed two nights; otherwise I would have left the way I came. People occupy your pitch as if it were theirs and are quite rude. It is a shame because the surroundings are worthwhile. Not recommended; find somewhere else before coming here.✦Translating

As described by the others, very quiet. One long-unoccupied caravan and a few permanent campers whose pitches looked very clean. About 15 cabins with low occupancy. Water, electricity, and wastewater on site. Older but clean toilets with toilet paper. Soap for washing hands available. A good site for one night.✦Translating

Campsite halfway to Vélez Blanco, with beautiful views of the castle. Very quiet, very spacious pitches; in April we were alone in the campsite! Clean facilities with a slight smell and very hot water. We were very comfortable! Recommended for spending the night.✦Translating

Very quiet, close to the village of Vélez Blanco, surrounded by nature, and you can walk to the castle or the Los Letreros cave. There is a barbecue area for lunch and dinner, as well as bungalows and rural apartments. Book before going. Very good facilities and very friendly staff.✦Translating
