Daytime parking, motorhomes prohibited

ATTENTION, DO NOT PARK HERE! The other day the police arrived and recorded all the license plates of the motorhomes parked here so they could fine us. The officer told us that parking motorhomes is completely PROHIBITED both in this parking area and the other one because it is a Natural Park.

Im beginning to despair at the motorhomers visiting this area of Spain. We live locally and have a motorhome which we try to use most weekends. The rules are absolutely clear in Spain. You may park your motorhome legally, but must not show camping behaviour. Why then, in this area as so many others are people so flagrantly breaking the rules? Being a cemetery car park just makes it worse.

Quiet park up but lots of mosquitoes and processionary caterpillars around so be careful if you have pets with you. Very nice walks around the nature reserve. There is a water point but only for filling up bottles. Plenty of bins so leave no trace.

A good place to stay for a while. However, please keep some distance from the cemetery parking area so that respect is maintained, especially during funerals. Regarding the previous commenters who complained about the number of motorhomes, I wonder what they expected there. You are complaining because you did not find a space; otherwise you would not have driven there.

This is disgusting, people are camping here, not parked for the night, must be over 50 vans there today 11 feb 2026, and from all,parts of Europe and ex Europe countries - this behaviour next to a cemetery is not what this is about

It is catastrophic how many motorhomes have settled here. I find it very disrespectful to overcrowd this place. Four or five for one or two nights would be fine, but not this. We turned around and continued driving.

Two nights, from Friday to Sunday. Very quiet place. There is a tap at the cemetery, accessible during opening hours; the toilets are currently closed. Large bins in the parking area. Beautiful walks around the lagoon.

Quiet surroundings. Plenty of opportunities for cycling. Bins available. Free water in the forest.

Keep your dogs on a leash and pick up their waste! This is a national park; the rules exist for a reason. If you do not want to follow them, walk somewhere else.

Perfect for one night. There are plenty of motorhomes, so you do not feel alone.

Very spacious and peaceful place surrounded by greenery and several motorhomes. Watch out for low trees, but easy access without problems. There are rubbish bins.

Secluded spot with shade from the trees. Two other cars spent the night there, but everyone kept to themselves. The surface is hard dirt, not soft sand, so my feet did not get dirty. It was quiet at night, but in the morning there were many people walking dogs or cycling, so it was somewhat noisy. There is no bathroom nearby.

There is a cemetery, so do not park in front of it. I saw no other camper, only myself. There is a sign prohibiting vehicles over 2.20 m. There is a fountain in the recreational area, separate from the cemetery, but it requires walking 100–200 m. It does not seem prohibited, except for tents at night and putting out chairs and tables.

We were ashamed to see people parking here to sunbathe topless. Come on, go to a campsite! In addition, campers do not respect waste sorting at all. Park here to walk through this magnificent nature reserve, then leave when you are finished. Do not expose your bodies to people who do not want to see them, especially at a cemetery.

Almost 40 motorhomes were parked here when we drove there today. The parking area is now completely full, so even cars cannot park for people visiting the cemetery. We turned around immediately and were met by a man in a car angrily pointing his finger at us. On another occasion, we were also told that collecting water here is not allowed.

We found the place overcrowded with motorhomes. In addition, every second person was disrespectfully spreading out, sitting shirtless in front of their motorhome drinking, eating, and sunbathing, very close to the two cemeteries. I wonder how these motorhomers would react to such behavior in their home countries.
