11 Avenue du Mont blanc, 11010, Pré-Saint-Didier
Been here?
A quiet, spacious motorhome area beside a river, with picnic tables and access to hiking routes toward the panoramic Skywalk. Parking is free from 19.00 to 9.00 and otherwise costs 1 euro per hour. Fresh-water filling and grey-water emptying are available, but the black-water facility remains out of order and there is no electricity. The panoramic footpath takes about 40 minutes and is very steep.

Excellent pitches. Waste disposal and water supply available, but no electricity. The river and picnic tables make it very idyllic. We had a good night here. From here we took a short hike to the Skywalk. It is well worth it.
Useful for emptying grey-water tanks before beginning the climb to La Thuile.
Black-water disposal is always out of order. Not to be missed: the panoramic footbridge, accessible in a 40-minute walk, very steep. The trail starts at the back of the site.
We spent a peaceful night here, with the sound of the river.
Excellent place to stop before tackling the Little Saint Bernard Pass. We arrived at night and still found a space. Parking is free from 7 p.m. to 9 a.m. There are 4 or 5 picnic tables and a fountain. A panoramic trail leads to a thermal spring, and the area is completely illuminated at night. Recommended.
A good place to spend the night. It’s a shame – and, frankly, baffling – that there’s only one tap. After seeing someone washing their portable toilet, I decided not to top up the water in my campervan. That’s why I’m only giving it 3 stars.
Simple, inexpensive parking area, no electricity, black-water disposal broken, grey-water disposal and fresh-water filling available. Spaces are small; if someone is parked next to you, you cannot open the awning. Convenient for the thermal baths, visiting the town and the gorge.
Very good place, with a very quiet and pleasant setting, spacious spaces, a river alongside, a municipal swimming pool, a trail to a viewpoint, and a beautiful nearby village. Restaurants and food shops are available. Unfortunately, the chemical toilet was broken. We do not know since when or whether it will be repaired. Maximum stay is 24 hours.
great park up just outside of town. we had used the water fill earlier in the day for free but then decided to come back to stay overnight. free from 7pm - 9am and then only 1euro per hour. grey and black waste , water fill and rubbish bins short walk into lovely town and great views! right on the river
Paid parking during the day, free at night. Near a stream, the town center and mountain views. Quiet day and night. The trail to the viewpoint starts from the parking area, offering breathtaking views over the valley and mountains.
Today, July 12, the black-water disposal is broken.
Black-water disposal out of order.
Nice place and quite (but the river). Even the road did not disturb us. Parking spaces are mostly flat, half of them are with electricity (we had none). Water, grey water and toilet disposal are free. The pedestrian bridge takes you to the village, directly to the public swimming pool.
We stopped here for one night but stayed for three. WC disposal not working when we were there but fresh and grey disposal are functioning. Great home base for local hikes and walking distance to the village. Very quiet and peaceful next to a river. Free 7pm until 9am then paid after that. Enjoy!
Today, July 4, 2026, only grey-water disposal and fresh-water filling are possible! Black-water disposal is out of service!
Excellent place for visiting this lovely village. Fresh water and water disposal available free of charge. Very level ground and a 5-minute walk from the village.
Free from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m. I think there is also an option to pay for the whole day. Very well located; we spent two peaceful nights.
The local tourist association says electricity is no longer available, so it is only a camper parking area with fresh-water filling and waste disposal.
Visited at the beginning of March 2026. Good location, close to the village and essentially level. The services do not work: electricity is unavailable and toilet disposal cannot be used. We contacted the local tourist association, which referred us to the municipality. An association representative also came to inspect, but nothing changed. Payment is required from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.: €1 for the first hour, then €2 per hour.
Quiet camping area but without sunlight, convenient for access to the thermal baths. Electricity pedestals out of order; for filling with water, the hose was frozen because it was found closed even though the sign says to keep it open to prevent freezing.
We managed to get water here in winter. The hose was broken but the tap works. We used our own hose.
The electricity pedestals are no longer active. The route to the thermal baths is always snow-covered in winter, so you have to access it from the main road.
Water is shut off in winter; it is possible to dump gray water. The parking area is constantly cleaned during snowfall.
Electricity is no longer available, even though the tower is there and there are no signs warning you about it. Dump station and water are functional. €9 per day, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
We have been coming for years. Now there is no longer a barrier and payment is made outside via EasyPark. €1 per hour from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., maximum €10 per day, minimum 2 hours. They added 15 spaces in the outer area, so there are now 34 spaces. The pitches are small and the campers are all very close together; it is impossible to put out a table. Electricity is no longer active, as the municipality confirmed. It has worsened, so four stars.
Wonderful, very quiet area next to the river and at the start of several trails with spectacular views of the canyon through which the river flows. There is a route to the viewpoint that takes about 50 minutes. The electricity did not work, probably because it is already the low season. Very few people. Recommended.
Two hundred meters from the thermal baths, €9 per day including electricity, filling and emptying. Excellent experience.
Easily accessible, near the main road but quiet. Water filling and dumping. Garbage bins. Convenient for the village services and thermal baths. Payment is also possible with the EasyPark app.
Good camping area, very busy and paid from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., €9.50. Electricity currently suspended. Very convenient for the thermal baths and gorge. There is a picnic area with tables. Also suitable for vehicles over 7 meters.
We stayed for an afternoon to visit the thermal baths, which are right next door. The spaces along the stream are sunny during the day.
Excellent area, although electricity is currently unavailable. €10 for the day, including filling and emptying. It is very annoying and unfair to the people staying in the area that campers constantly come and dump without paying the small €2 entrance fee. They make us ashamed to be campers! This will continue until the municipality installs a barrier. How sad!
Well located beside a river, near the center and the hiking trail leading to the panoramic footbridge, about 40 minutes each way. Near the thermal baths, but very expensive: €70 per person for 5 hours. The area is somewhat noisy if you are near the dumping facilities. Campers come here to use the services because there are no services in Morgex or Courmayeur. There is therefore a procession of campers using the services without paying the €2 normally charged. It is possible to take a bus to Courmayeur and go to the Skyway for Mont Blanc.
A peaceful place and a starting point for many walks. The services are free and well maintained. We stopped here after visiting Chamonix.
Beautiful parking area near the gorge and an excellent starting point for the walk. Too bad the drinking water for filling flows very slowly.
At the foot of Mont Blanc, a short walk from the village and convenient for the trails. Excellent price. Equipped for dumping and filling. Paid from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.: €1/hour, minimum €2. Free at night. Services included.
Beautiful place with excellent services. One star missing because there has been no electricity for a couple of days. They disconnected it but left no sign explaining why. A real shame; I would even have paid a little more if the reason was the cost.
perfect spot, very busy with campers but everyone is considerate so noise levels are very low, peaceful nights sleep. Free from 7pm until 9am, waste disposal and water available. Short walk into village, bars, cafes, bakery and more.
Good area for motorhomes. Payment is by the hour from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. From 7 p.m. and throughout the night it is free. Quiet place with completely free filling and emptying. The trail to the panoramic footbridge starts from the same parking area. Near the village center. Good focaccias in the bakeries.
