A picnic area beside a torrent, suitable for a free stopover or one or two nights. It is close to the road, so passing traffic can be heard, although nights are generally quiet. Picnic tables, a barbecue and some shade are available, with no electricity or nearby bins. The area has views towards the Galibier and easy access to the Col du Galibier.

Very nice place to eat or spend a night. Beautiful views in summer and winter, magnificent under the snow! Near a lightly used road, so it is quiet. Bench and barbecue available.Translating
