Private woodland parking, authorization required

Wonderful place lost on the French-speaking Belgian border. The private parking area is on the French side of this small country road. You simply need to buy a drink at the old-fashioned pub, and the friendly owner will show you where to park. Starting point for magnificent hikes. Open from 3 p.m. Thank you for the welcome.

Very friendly welcome. Quiet place, beautiful surroundings!

This place is super calm, in the middle of nature. We spent a night with my two little girls, aged 6 and 3—just a superb, clean place. Tomorrow we will explore the surrounding area, nature walks and mountain-bike trails. I went to the bar to ask permission; the person was very pleasant and also gave me information about activities and sights around the tavern.

Lovely peaceful place, recommended. We went on a beautiful walk from here.

We spent the night of May 19–20, 2024, and unfortunately left the site at 4 a.m. because a car fired a shot in front of us, to intimidate us or for some other reason… Sad world, and it is a shame I was unable to identify it.

For peace and quiet away from noise, it is great. Just ask the owner while enjoying a Belgian Orval or Karmeliet beer… For the Brasserie du Baron, known in the region for its Daffodil brew, you need to reserve a table because it is very busy, so it must be good.

Great place! Very nice people, the owners of Le Mireille. Be sure to eat and drink there! You park wonderfully among the trees on their grounds. Highly recommended!
