Quiet waterfront parking, overnight prohibited

After a quiet night and a good place to sleep, we were informed that we were not allowed to stay overnight here.

We were approached by someone working for the municipality. According to the local regulations, you may not sleep here and may park for a maximum of 10 hours. May 5, 2026.

Very quiet place, although we were there in mid-April.

Many spaces available, especially at this time of year. Ideal parking for visiting the town center, which is very pretty, and doing some shopping... Probably not for sleeping overnight.

Great spot. Central and by the water. Parking spaces are officially not large enough for long motorhomes. You may park here for a maximum of 10 hours with a blue parking disc. Overnight stays are not allowed.

Great spot. Very central. Quiet night. Plenty of space and the village is within walking distance. Also walk to the viewpoint and beacon at the end of the Westhaven dam.

Several parking spaces directly next to one another, right by the water. Beautiful nature, quiet, and within walking distance of the town and supermarket. The toilets and showers belong to the marina and were secured with a code, so there were no public toilets available. Highly recommended for one night.
