Bay parking, peaceful overnight stays

It works, good preassure

We enjoyed this park up with stunning sunrises & sunsets. The bird observation tower is worth a visit and of course sampling the fish in one of tavernas that are open still this time of year. The local strays are all very friendly, a bit of barking during the day but our 2 nights here have been quiet.

Nice and mostly quiet. The strays are a bit pushy, especially the one that looks like a Husky. Friendly but a bit too close. Nice restaurants in the area.

Perfect place to stop for a night. Easy access from the motorway in a 7.5m motorhome. Gravel or grass parking. Lovely views over the bay. Taverna nearby. A very peaceful night.

The negative reviews refer to another site; this one is easy to access and has since been filled in. It is important that when coming from the harbor, you drive past the monument over the bridge and then turn right. We spent a quiet night and watched the flamingos in the morning!✦Translating

Parking area about 30 meters farther north, over the bridge. There are many mosquitoes. Some traffic, but it is fine. Even with a trailer, such as a boat, or a larger vehicle, it is no problem to park here. We also found something to eat in the now sparsely populated town. Fine for one night with a morning sunrise.✦Translating

The place is okay. We parked 50 m away, over the bridge under a tree, and enjoyed deep shade from the morning until 12:30. Cycle and footpath to the bird-watching tower, water tap, and trash bin on site. Sandy beach about 1 km south.✦Translating

We tried to reach the site. Unfortunately, it does not seem to be up to date. You can now only get over the curb with a Unimog. Alternatively, you could park along the road. We did not want to risk it, as a lot of traffic from fishing activity was expected at night.✦Translating

It's prety nice and safe, but to noisy because of the traffic, and there are a lot of mosquitos...

it had been raining a lot so unable to park on the grass. grarvel parking space was quite soft ground as well. nothing remarkable but a free stop overnight. there is a large flat concrete area past the row of restaurants but might be private? local fish taverna provided a very good meal at a reasonable price.

Parking here is like parking in the middle of a roundabout. Please do not do this! I am still giving it 3 stars because if you go a little farther, you will find a small, quiet parking area where you can spend the night.✦Translating
