Been here?
A daytime parking area in Bidstrup Skovene National Park, near a pond, forest, walking routes and mountain-bike trails. Toilets, drinking water, picnic tables, barbecue facilities and fireplaces are listed, although one recent visit found the toilets closed. The parking area is uneven and much smaller than the advertised approximately 40 places, with 5 spaces considered more realistic. It is prohibited to stay overnight and can be busy with locals at weekends.

Beautiful parking area near a pond and hiking and mountain-biking trails. Toilets, tables, barbecue area… Very good, but not for 40 vehicles! Five is more than enough. Fairly busy with locals at weekends.
If you like peace and seclusion, this is exactly right. Good parking area with clean toilets.
pretty uneven parking lot. it's beautiful, next to a forest. i drove away when it got dark, as it's located right next to an asylum center for evicted / non approved asylum seekers and some young men were being super loud,it made me very uncomfortable as a single woman. For a couple it would probably be really nice.
Lovely place in the middle of Bidstrup Forest, with opportunities for hiking in the beautiful area. We were here on 4 March with two other campers on a sunny spring day. The toilets looked fine from the outside. Unfortunately, they were not open.
We were able to spend the night very peacefully. We were alone apart from about 10 deer. A very good and quiet overnight spot.
Perfectly fine for filling up with water. The toilets are not really clean, comparable to motorway service-area toilets.
Actually really great. Toilet, barbecue area, and drinking water available. A cool bike park is next door, and a beautiful lake is a few minutes’ walk away. However, there is an asylum centre right next door, and drunk youths were partying. You need to check the situation in the evening, but we decided not to stay overnight.
Absolutely magnificent place! We stayed for two nights. On the first day we used the free bike park, with trails for all levels. The routes through the forest are fantastic! On the second day we hiked through the forest to the lake for a swim. Wonderful tours by bike or on foot. Highly recommended! And only nice people there. Drinking-water point, without a connection. The toilet is okay.
Quiet place for one night, right by the forest and with fresh water. However, the available toilets were quite dirty, and a few metres further away there is an old hospital currently being used as an asylum centre for asylum seekers due to be deported. Some asylum seekers were still on the parking area and picnic area in the early evening. It was very quiet overnight.
