A quiet overnight stop at the edge of a forest road above Piodao, with views of the village and no services. The zigzag access is badly damaged, with rocks, potholes and no turning spaces, and requires a 4x4. The second access via Fonte Carriço is easy for any vehicle.

Mountain dirt-and-rock road with many potholes and no spaces to turn around and go back. Definitely only for 4x4s or small vans willing to take the risk.
