Campsite in the middle of nature, with pitches that are not very spacious. Excellent sanitary facilities. Good pizza, reserved to eat on site.

Beautiful, very well-maintained site—the perfect starting point for various road-cycling, trail-running or hiking trips. It can get a little chilly at night (the site is at around 1,750 m) :)

Very beautiful, peaceful location almost directly on the lake. Still well visited at the end of August, but no problem finding a nice spot. The staff and owners are very friendly and uncomplicated. You can preorder bread and there is very good pizza, among other things. Tip: reserve a table at the restaurant for the evening…..

A nice, small campsite with extremely delicious pizza. Beautifully located on Lake Sils. Clean sanitary facilities. Costs just under CHF 48 for two people, one dog and a camper van without electricity or tourist tax.

Our stay was too short, shortened by the rain, which we regret. It is simply a little corner of paradise at the edge of the forest. Everything is clean, whether the showers or toilets. Everything has been designed to provide maximum comfort. The restaurant is welcoming, and the parking price is very reasonable compared with what we have seen elsewhere.

This site is in my all-time top ten, it's that good! Max is super helpful and very chilled. Ask him about his philosophy on camping (particularly booking sites). The site has both sunny and shady pitches. As already mentioned, the pizzas are excellent. the toilets are very clean, with toilet paper and soap supplied. A one minute walk from site sees you on the shore of a lovely lake.

Great site directly on the lake. Nice people and, not to forget, amazingly delicious pizza. We will return—no threat, a promise.

First-class campsite, directly on the lake in an absolutely peaceful location, with excellent infrastructure: super-clean sanitary facilities, a refrigerator for general use, excellent pizza and breakfast, and pitches that are sufficiently large and level. Wonderful views of the distinctive mountains!

Very beautiful place with a friendly welcome. Somewhat uneven pitches, more for individualists. Reservations are not possible; you come on spec and can choose your own pitch. There are usually still spaces available. Bathrooms and toilets are clean and thoroughly cleaned every day. When full, the facilities are a little limited. Pizza highly recommended!

Pros and cons: There were still three spaces available. The welcome was very warm. The pitches were not good—sloping or close together. The sanitary facilities were very clean! But the back of the restaurant was very cluttered with boats and storage. Close to the lake and walking routes. We had very good pizza!

Five stars for the high-altitude location, the lake and the friendly lady at reception. Unfortunately, there was no space for us at lunchtime. Corpus Christi, a long weekend and the Tour de Suisse were apparently too much. We drove another 15 minutes to Viscorpone and managed to get a place there. We will try Maloja again, outside the season and when the weather is a little greyer.

A wonderful idyllic site with many hiking opportunities starting from the campsite. Immaculately clean sanitary facilities and washing-up station. Very friendly operator. And amazingly delicious pizza at the restaurant and to take away.

If there is no space here, it is possible to park in the village where the cross-country ski trail begins, after purchasing the ticket here at the campsite. The final stretch of road to the campsite is very narrow, and meeting a car becomes a problem.

The campsite was full and seemed rather disorganized. You can pay €20 to spend the night with a camper or car on an abandoned red basketball court next to Centro Fondo Maloja. The fee is paid at the campsite. From the court there are views of a waterfall on the mountain. There are toilets at the cross-country centre.

The setting is magnificent, with access to the lake, in the forest and with no noise; the sanitary facilities are very good… but in high season it is overcrowded! There were two vans on a supposedly large pitch, and we were packed together! We lived according to the bedtimes of the last children and the wake-up times of the first ones… In addition, the ground is really not very level.
