1 Rue du Canal, 21150, Pouillenay
Been here?
Flat parking beside the Burgundy canal between two locks, accommodating overnight stays. Some shaded spots and picnic tables; water point now inoperative. Road traffic nearby but quiets in evening. No services. Good for cycling the towpath; basic peaceful spot.

Beautiful place to spend a night beside the Burgundy Canal, with plenty of space, but beware: the mentioned water point is no longer operational. Traffic on the nearby road calms down in the evening. We had a rewarding encounter with local fishermen!
Very relaxing place. Very well located for cycling along the canal.
Quiet, flat place beside the canal, a simple parking area without bins. Very good for taking the greenway and visiting Alesia.
Nice place to stay. View of the lock. No shade. Level ground.
Quite okay for one night.
Very charming. To be undisturbed, park at the back of the parking area. If there are no fishermen, it can accommodate seven motorhomes. A very quiet place.
It is simply a beautiful parking area beside the canal, also suitable for the night. There is no water.
Beautiful place for spending the night. Water point. Easy access. Cycle path alongside the Burgundy Canal.
Nice and pleasant place, but a lot of passing cars.
Beautiful place, but a little too close to the road for spending the night. Water point. Easy access to the cycle path alongside the Burgundy Canal.
Beautiful place along the canal, allowing you to cycle on the towpath to Alesia—5 km, for example. There is also a water point.
We are sure this will be a satisfactory park-up for some, but we did not like it enough to stay overnight. It is very near the fairly busy road and there no signs to say motorhomes are welcome. Several cars came and went to the parking in the couple of hours we were there. It did not feel peaceful.
Quiet, but no services. Not a single bin within 500 meters.
Very quiet and pleasant place. We were woken by construction machinery working nearby, but we would gladly return.
Beautiful place and a lovely bike ride. There is a water pump along the canal. We stayed overnight; it was quiet.
Great place, accessible to heavy vehicles, with about 10 spaces, without crowding each other if everyone makes the effort to park properly. Perfectly flat. A bike ride along the magnificent Burgundy Canal! We stayed five days and six nights, accompanied by woodpeckers and other jays!
Quiet, pleasant, and not far from the Alesia visitor site, towpath, green cycling route, fountain, and more. Visit the Alesia site, the beautiful Fontenay Abbey, and the anise candy factory in Flavigny. Two flawless nights.
Gravel and grass area with a view of the Burgundy Canal. Space for 4–5 campers. The cycle path alongside the canal passes through it. An oasis of peace.
Quiet place, peaceful at the back of the parking area and large enough for several vehicles. The Burgundy Canal is just a stone’s throw away for wonderful bike rides. We recommend this place!
Nice parking area along the canal, but the road is very close and there is quite a lot of traffic.
