Beach parking, quiet nights

We were here on July 14, 2025. The site is in a residential area; we felt safe. The town of Portimão and the beach were easily reachable on foot.

Parking accommodates a 7-meter motorhome near Praia dos Três Castelos. Dead-end street with only pedestrian access. Peaceful overnight stay.

No interest, ugly.

It does not have sea views. It is a normal parking area in front of some apartments. I recommend it for spending the night; it is quiet and close to the beach and town center. We had no problems and spent two nights there. The only drawback is that the sun hits in the morning and the heat is very noticeable. I do not recommend Fridays and Saturdays, when young people drink and make noise.

Everything was fine for one night.

We parked in the highest spot, next to the gate of an estate. Saturday night was noisy, with people passing by and entering and leaving the nearby building. Early in the morning, two roosters reminded us of their ancestral profession and that they are a symbol of Portugal. If you come outside the season, it may be a good place to spend the night.

Close to the beach and quiet.

I cannot understand why there is still no comment for this place. The only drawback I see is the slope, but if you drive to the end of the road it is not a problem. Positives: no barking dogs, quiet, no traffic noise, 500 meters from the beach, and, if you take the right path at the end of the road, 35 minutes to the city center. Maximum length 6.5 m. Only for campers, not motorhomes.
