This free parking area is directly across the street from a beach, near the town centre, shops, a supermarket, restaurants, a seafront promenade, and a cycle path. It has nearby bins but no services, and the parking is illuminated. Nights can be quiet, although traffic and nearby waterfront activity may create noise; a neighbouring bar has previously played music until about 1:00 in the morning. There is no shade directly in front of the beach.

Just cross the road and you are on the beach, where I had a lovely refreshing swim in the evening after arriving sweaty from the heat. The car park is very close to the town centre, where there are several shops and a supermarket. It is noisy because it is right next to the road and seafront. I hope I sleep tonight.
We spent one night here, a quiet place but with no shade, directly in front of the sea.
Free parking opposite the beach, seafront promenade and cycle path. No facilities, but very convenient for the centre and several establishments. Lit and quiet at night. Close to the road, so not completely silent, but still an excellent choice. Bins nearby.

Slept one night on 11 January. Illuminated car park, quiet road beside it, opposite the sea with a beautiful bay, cycle path and bins. Peaceful night, with only the sound of slightly rough waves.
We spent one quiet night here, everything was fine
We spent two nights here. Parking right opposite a large beach with plenty of free space. There are lots of parking areas around, as well as adjacent areas with trees and shade. The beach bar next door keeps the music on until approximately 1:00 a.m., so if you are a light sleeper it is better to use the car parks a little farther back. We will definitely return.
Good for the nearby sea. A little noisy in the evening due to the coming and going of cars.

A beautiful large parking area. Excellent for a walk along the seafront promenade, going to the beach for a swim, or strolling around town. I looked for somewhere better for spending the night, because I found this place uncomfortable.
Perfect for a stopover. The center is a short walk away and the beach is opposite. We stayed one night at the end of last October. Quiet. No services: it is a parking area!
Convenient for a quick stop. We arrived at night after 10 hours of travel and parked in this small space opposite the beach, which was very convenient. There was a sandwich van and we ate immediately. No services... sea views and sunset!
Excellent parking area, right by the sea and the beach, with both serviced and free sections. Flat parking, always breezy. Praia center is a one-minute walk away, with a beautiful promenade, children's playground, and many places to eat. There is also a small Conad supermarket halfway along it. Quiet at night and we slept well.
We spent a good night here with three other motorhomes.
WARNING: this used to be an excellent stopping point, but for some time now, taking advantage of the darkness, someone has been throwing oranges at campers. No damage, but it is frightening.
