This enclosed daytime parking area is surrounded by forest and provides a starting point for short and long hikes. The surface is somewhat uneven, and traffic noise from the nearby road can be noticeable, especially with motorcycles. A small cabin beside the parking area is open during the day and serves food including Black Forest cake. Overnight parking is prohibited; from November 1st until April 30th, no parking is allowed between 11 p.m. and 8 a.m.

The description saying the site is uneven is inaccurate; some pitches are much steeper. Usually the first level of the leveling ramp is enough to correct it. As darkness falls, the traffic noise ends, especially the motorcycles. We and seven other campers had a very good night. Overnight stays are only prohibited during the winter season.
There is no prohibition on camping anywhere. Every evening there were an average of 5 to 8 campers. A beautiful starting point for walking, with water nearby.
Good for daily parking as a starting point for hiking.
We stayed here over the weekend on P3 and had a great spot and a good starting point for hikes. No services available, but Seibelseckle, with very tasty cakes, is right in the parking lot. Lots of motorcycle traffic on weekends.
Very beautiful place and starting point for hikes. You can hear the busy road nearby. It is only slightly uneven. Overnight stays prohibited from November 30 to April 30.
Good starting point for hikes. In summer, staying overnight seems to be no problem. The Black Forest cherry cake at the hut by the parking lot was delicious, and the people were very friendly.
The place is not necessarily level, but the view is exceptional.
