Overnight stays are very calm, with only the nearby torrent providing sound. Two hiking routes begin nearby, taking 25min and 2h, and the memorial is accessible on foot.

Very spacious, with an unobstructed view and a classic natural setting, plus a cool little stream below. Perfect for starting a hike up Mont Aiguille, first climbed in 1492!

This spot is great! We spent a very good night here despite the rain. The river flowing alongside is soothing, and there is a lovely view of Mont Aiguille and Pas de l’Aiguille. Two hiking trailheads are nearby, taking 25 minutes and 2 hours. A car passed by and said nothing. Please leave this place clean!
Quiet night, no access problems. Be careful: there is not much space left because tree trunks are being stored.
The view is extraordinary, with bonus points for the river flowing alongside, where you can cool off. Very beautiful hikes nearby, in a peaceful setting. We spent a peaceful night here.
You can see Mont Aiguille from the parking area only from one or two spaces. Otherwise, you are just looking at trees. You can see it wonderfully from the road leading there, but I would not park overnight at the edge. Very quiet until around 8 a.m.; then the hikers arrive and it becomes somewhat less idyllic.
Everything has already been said: the view, the peace, the access, and the memorial at the back of the valley. I would add: take courage in both hands and climb to the second memorial, 400 m higher, where they welcome you onto an alpine meadow with an idyllic view.
