Shaded parking, weekend closure

I am sorry to contradict Ilflamingo, but there is a prohibition. We were there yesterday at the weekend and there are two signs, one at the previous junction and one at the beginning of the car parks. In theory, during the low season they should not enforce it. Very beautiful place, and the refuge restaurant is excellent and inexpensive.

We spent two nights here; spectacular place, with no prohibition on motorhomes. The access road is closed from midnight to 6:30 a.m.

Warning! Since this year, access is no longer allowed from Friday morning until Sunday evening. You park at the barrier, where everything is full of cars if you arrive too late. They have banned transit and parking for motorhomes, vans and caravans, including towards the Lagoni.

A great place in a fantastic national park. Unfortunately, at the weekend we were directed to the car park at the entrance. The refuge is excellent. Everyone there is helpful; they registered us with the park police and proactively arranged for us to stay a second night. It is worth asking for permission. We were treated like house guests.

Wi-Fi at the refuge and a very good, peaceful place to spend the night. Perfect.

I was here at the end of October, so I could easily stay overnight for free, even for three nights. At night I was usually alone; during the day, some mushroom pickers or hikers arrived. Very beautiful surroundings—forest, moorland, stream and mountains—with many hiking opportunities. Just after the small bridge towards the little lake there is a fresh-water spring. Free Wi-Fi from the refuge, which was closed.

Beautiful, but no GSM coverage; free Wi-Fi signal near the refuge. Ordinance no. 1864/22 states that from 24 June 2022 to 5 June 2023, access and parking for motorhomes, caravans and campervans from the gates to Lagdei and Lagoni were prohibited from Friday morning until Sunday evening.
